One of the best restaurants we have been to. Food is simple but packed with flavour and best dinner we had in Amsterdam. After reading reviews on here decided to book a table and so pleased we did. Food atmosphere and staff a credit too the owner

Norling is a tourist friendly cosy little restaurant. Staff was friendly, service was accurate and most importantly the food very very good. The Amsterdam culinary scene definitely benefits from this place. Everything was very good!

This was the best restaurant we ate in for the entire six week European vacation! We got the fixed price menu, curry chicken for one entree and lamb for the other. I would hate to choose between them, they are both to die for! As unabashed foodies, we were not disappointed in any way, and the place exceeded expectations in... More

Located in an historical building, after dinner take a visit up to the top floor and then have a look from the outside: you'll experience a true 1600 house, in which you ate great tibetan food. Original and traditional cuisine, very well cooked and presented in the dishes, served with kindness by the personnel, who will explain everything about the... More

First time we had Tibetan food, it was a great experience. Bitter lemon drink was great, entree and mains were delicious, had steamed bread for the first time and couldn't get enough! The service was also great.

Norling is a must stop on anyone's Amsterdam journey especially if exploring non-Continental food. This is NOT Chinese food. Tibetan food is Himalayan, similar to Nepalese. Every dish I've eaten used fresh ingredients, was colorful and perfectly cooked. Many of Norling's dishes can be ordered as beef, lamb, pork, chicken, shrimp or vegetarian. The curries are freshly made and fully... More
