Would have been perfect

The restaurant has changed name to Restaurant Miu. I really enjoyed this Asian Fusion restaurant, and probably one of the more successful ones I have been. Dont be fooled by the outdated exterior & menus outside as the interior is vastly different. A very contemporary dark feel inside, and definitely a type of place you would like to go as a couple. The menu was a 5 course,... More

Visited without fully reading the reviews here. Take time to understand and choose wisely as a poor choice has to be eaten in full before you are "allowed" to order more. Our waitress was hopeless that night, explained nothing and did not provide a basic level of service but she was not representative of the other staff. If you have... More

We went for dinner with some colleagues and it was a great surprise. Despite the fact that the place was very little crowded, we were suggested a 25€ menu per person that included 5 choices of good food, with the only limitation that we would have been charged more if we left something. This of course did not happen, since... More

Good priced food. But beware.... Place tricks you into 6 euro bottles of water and pricey beer. So ask for the cost of drinks before you buy. If you know this classic restaurant trap your in for some okay food and a good deal, served by good staff. Cool ambience and free of the usual city DB,s.

Despite an underwhelming exterior, the restaurant inside is stylish and atmospheric. The food (sushi, japanese, asian) was interesting, and suited the "all-you-can-eat" concept. I think this place was relatively good value for money - the food definitely was, but they do try to make up for it by charging 3 euros for 200ml soft drinks bottles! Several of the items... More

Ate here twice on a 5 day break to Amsterdam with my 14 yr old son. Concept is simple; 2 items per person ordered, eat them & order 2 more items each until full. First time we had managed 3 times, 2nd visit we ordered 4 times. Current price is €25 per person (€15/child) My son is a sushi freak... More

I ate at Umami twice. Their sushi menu is very limited- only salmon and california maki are actually worth re-ordering and recommending. I was also able to try mussles and sweet and sour shrimp. The mussles were in a really tasty sauce. I do recommend the place, especially the two maki rolls. Umami has a great atmosphere- it's dark inside... More

Having read the reviews on here we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was busy but we didn't need a reservation. It doesn't look much from the front but when you walk down to the main restaurant you get the feeling of a relaxed atmosphere and nice ambience. Being in the height of tourist season we expected it... More
