Our bread is made today exactly as it was in the beginning: with only organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand and baked in a hearth under the watchful eye of artisan bakers. We insist on the freshest and finest ingredients. If we can't find them, we make them ourselves. Our shelves are lined with the products we've created: the jams and chocolate spreads on the communal table, the granola in your parfait, the coffee that fills your bowl.

It doesn't matter in which country you are visiting this French breakfast, lunch, brunch concept, you will never be dissapointed. Here as anywhere else it is located in one of Amsterdams nicest districts.

This place was a short walk from my hotel so I visited for lunch. They had menu's printed in English, which really helped and the staff were all so friendly. I had a latte (deliciously creamy) and the Smoked Salmon open sandwich which was a good size and came with Avocado too. All really delicious. It was only half full... More

Breakfast was fantastic! Fresh squeezed orange juice and all organic products! Makes ordering a healthy option easy. The restaurant is small and can be a bit congested but the food is fabulous!

The originally founded in Brussels chain has a nice spot at the end of the Cornelis Schuytstreet. They are known for there simple but delicious bread with something on it (eggs, avocado, salmon, farmers cheese etc). Large pots with homemade marmalade or organic chocolate pate are placed on your table to add a little sweetness to your bread. The coffee... More

I expected a nice little place with a humble breakfast, but discovered a great combination of location, atmosphere, products and great serving. Tip: don't miss out on the amazing speculoos spread!

drop in to the communal tables for a simple breakie, nice coffee and warm atmosphere - even good to buy some of the produce in the store - nice spot for an early coffee with the family and friends.

Stopped in for an escape from the rain and a quick bite for lunch. Lots of interesting choices (sandwiches, quiche, soup) but it was a perfect day for a nice warm soup. I have had many versions of pumpkin soup, but wow, was this ever a great surprise. It was very busy given the weather, but everyone shares space so... More

We arrived in Amsterdam at 6:30 a.m. While our apartment was being cleaned, we staggered to the nearby Pain Quotidien for breakfast and a rest. The service is friendly, the food excellent of its type, and this is a terrific place to while away some time - it is very popular, but they do not hassle you to leave quickly,... More

Fresh baguette and French butter and jam. Good coffee. Fresh orange juice. Sitting in the morning sun. Locals were having eggs and ham.

My fiance loved the espressos here. As for me, I had quite the sweet tooth. The eclairs were the best I have ever had, so chocolate-lovers will be in for quite the treat! I also enjoyed their tarts! Lastly, they had these almond soft chewy candies that were quite delicious!
