Description: Our bread is made today exactly as it was in the beginning: with only organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand and baked in a hearth under the watchful eye of artisan bakers. We insist on the freshest and finest ingredients. If we can't find them, we make them ourselves. Our shelves are lined with the products we've created: the jams and chocolate spreads on the communal table, the granola in your parfait, the coffee that fills your bowl.

Stopped in for an escape from the rain and a quick bite for lunch. Lots of interesting choices (sandwiches, quiche, soup) but it was a perfect day for a nice warm soup. I have had many versions of pumpkin soup, but wow, was this ever a great surprise. It was very busy given the weather, but everyone shares space so... More

We arrived in Amsterdam at 6:30 a.m. While our apartment was being cleaned, we staggered to the nearby Pain Quotidien for breakfast and a rest. The service is friendly, the food excellent of its type, and this is a terrific place to while away some time - it is very popular, but they do not hassle you to leave quickly,... More

Fresh baguette and French butter and jam. Good coffee. Fresh orange juice. Sitting in the morning sun. Locals were having eggs and ham.

My fiance loved the espressos here. As for me, I had quite the sweet tooth. The eclairs were the best I have ever had, so chocolate-lovers will be in for quite the treat! I also enjoyed their tarts! Lastly, they had these almond soft chewy candies that were quite delicious!

Well priced breakfast on a quiet street but with a real cafe buzz. A good range of options from omlettes to youghurts and porridge and great coffee and juice. An open air opition in the summer. Close to Vondel Park.

Very nice neighbourhood. Lovely organic breakfast with fresh product. Freshly pressed orange juice. Nice terrasse and also big room inside. We had both of our breakfast here as it was so good and the service was excellent too. Will recommend to go there!

Frequently walk in on Sunday's as its my only time to visit. Mostly a local hang out as a tourist you will need some time to get there. All food is organic and fresh and just really tasty. They have interesting specials over a wide variety of food and tasty pastries. Service is good, relaxed paced and most staff friendly... More

Going to the Pain Quotidien for breakfast is definitely one of the most pleasurable things to do when in Oud -Zuid neighborhood. The atmosphere is great and if you are lucky to have a sunny day, take a seat outside and enjoy people watching while sipping a large caffe latte served in a bowl and dont forget to order a... More

We went there everyday for breakfast after going for a run in vondelpark. Good service, good food as it is expected from the chain of restaurants. Prices are as in every other Le Pain. Ambience is great.

What a find this little bakery was. Just a short walk from the EMB Memphis hotel. Great for breakfast, lunch, coffee or a fresh baguette for a light evening meal. You feel like a local sitting with friends and sipping a bowl of coffee. All the staff were welcoming and thankfully were able to translate our 'Australian English'. Our only... More
