Top Quality Cafe / Restaurant

Very good food including a large selection of organic & vegetation options. Feels very much like an independent cafe but is actually part of a chain. Definitely one of the best 'brunches' we have had!

Had lunch here one day and loved it so much we went for breakfast the next morning. The food was incredible and we all really enjoyed our meals. Probably the best hummus I've ever had! Bread was also very fresh. Service was a bit slow but still worth the wait.

Whether it's coffee, breakfast or lunch, this place never disappoints! Food quality is excellent and the menu changes fairly regularly. Always daily specials. Coffee, lattes, and fresh mint tea are excellent. Croissants and pastries are good. Salads and tartines never disappoint. Wait staff is friendly and accomodates expats, locals and visitors. Even though it's a chain, you don't feel like... More

I saw this beautiful little restaurant by chance, I went in with my girl, and we had great time. Excellent nature design, small and cozy, very tasty organic healthy food and excellent service! Only the guacamole needed comes with no salt/pepper or other dressing and this makes it taste weird if you do not know it.

Gorgeous food, organic breads and salads. Sort of a souped up version of Panera. Very reasonable and lovely food.

A superb restaurant serving a wide variety of organic breads, pastries, eggs and amazing coffee all brought in daily from Belgium. A must if you like your breakfasts.

Fresh buttery croissants in the morning, a big improvement over typical Dutch breakfast fare. The Oud Zuid neighborhood is among the most expensive areas of Amsterdam, and this bakery/café is a great addition.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast while sitting outside people watching on a Sunday morning. The food was quite tasty, especially the jams. The wait staff was friendly and courteous.

This is a really nice cafe on lively street near Vondelpark. You would never know it is part of chain, with a homely atmosphere and lots of lovely fresh food options on the menu. We sat at the large communal table in the middle which had open cookbooks, newspapers and anything else that you would enjoy flicking through. The large,... More

Very friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, a wide enough menu and a selection of breads that makes choice difficult. Excellent for breakfast and for a light meal in the afternoon

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
