Somellier selected wines: THAT is OMG so true

Without being too much into your face, they surely know how to treat customers. Nice welcom, good fresh food, SUPERB wines. Their wine of the month: Roa Reserve, made us feel like in Spain, with the sun in your face on the beach and the fish just out of the sea. We had a very pleasant stay... read more

This place was amazing. The menu is in Dutch however our server recommended the most delicious taps a to share. We had the dates wrapped in bacon, garlic shrimp, meat balls and the beef meat special. It was so tender and delicious. I highly highly recommend this place. You may need a reservation but we walked in.

We entered there to taste tapas, but as they suggested we tried a mix of meat: delicious!!! Soft and tasty, well cooked and high quality. The price is totally honest. VERY RECOMMENDED!!!

What a wonderful experience again! Try the meat dishes and the lemon cake. The staff makes you feel welcome. We will be back soon!

When we enterd the restaurant, again we felt like long missed friends! The owner Goran is a hard working entrepeneur and very Good host. After a while we have been here, the interiour changed but Became better. The menu, wine , service and prices are good and reasonable! Worth wile to pay a visit!!!

If you looking for a real tapas place, don't come here because you will be disappointed. They have some ok tapas, but nothing that will make me come back, they also don't have cava or a good selection of Spanish cheeses. In general it is not a place that I will recommended.

Tapas is rather a misnomer for the food at this restaurant- a browse at the menu shows a heavy Italian influence ( use of mozzarella, pesto , basil etc ), and the sizes bear no resemblance to classic tapas - think double to 4 times bigger - so careful with over ordering! Food Ok - we had the gambas with... More

This was a great little find, really friendly service and sumptuous tapas. Nothing that you won't have come across in any other tapas restaurants across Europe but all really well executed in a nice setting with a great ambience. It felt like we were in a really popular neighbourhood restaurant rather than dining in one of the most touristy cities... More

I've been a few times to Castro and can only recommend it. Good variety of well executed tapas, the pollo al limon being my favorite! Very friendly and motivated staff... they even helped me to practice my Dutch, that does not happen often in Amsterdam. I like the vibrant, warm and relaxed atmosphere. Price is honest especially if you consider... More
