Short walk from the Lloyd Hotel, and worth the effort. We went for brunch, excellent fried eggs, bacon and cheese. Efficient service, nice atmosphere... Slightly peculiar that they stooped accepting cash as of April 2015 (ie for us that was today, unless it was an April Fool's???), neither did they take credit cards, and the machine would not accept my... Excellent cafe for breakfast or lunch. Home made bread and the best mango smoothie I've ever had. It's more of a locals place away from the chaos and is perfect for a quiet eating experience and easy to get to from the number 10 tram. If you want to get away from tourist sections and have a nice lunch or... More

Awesome little place on the East side of the Amsterdam city centre. They serve excellent thick cut sandwiches and good tea and coffee. Would definately recommend a visit if you're in this part of town.

This tiny lunchroom is located outside Amsterdam centre, in one of the upcoming streets Czaar Peterstreet. Direction Scheepvaart museum. Everything is freshly prepared on the spot. Especially their home-baked coconut cookies they serve with your cappuccino are outstanding. The price / value ratio is excellent. And an always friendly staff. This, together with the food makes it an always crowded... More

I'm surprised no one has written for this place, as we were here twice on our recent trip to Amsterdam and it was pretty packed both times. It is a smaller restaurant just a short tram ride out from downtown in an up and coming neighbourhood near the Reitlandpark tram stop. The place was filled with locals and they have... More
