Excellent ramen, home made gyoza

Really great ramen, amazing gyoza and fast service. All at a reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

This restaurant does it exactly what is says.....deliver's you a great tasting bowel of Ramen. There are enough choices to keep the noodle soup interesting and taste wise it was perfect. Very enjoyable and I would certainly go back for more...!

Le Fou Fow is exactly what it purports to be - a ramen shop. Like the dozens of noodle shops springing up in my native NYC, it is small, fast, and focused on what it does - japanese noodle soups. Nothing special about the atmosphere (although they let me sit as long as I wanted), but the tonkatsu broth I... More

I was already a frequent visitor of the Fou Fow diner situated on the 3rd floor of the Dun Yong store at Nieuwmarkt, and couldn't wait for the bona fide restaurant to open its doors. After dining there twice, however, I have indeed mixed feelings. Food quality is consistently great (I had the chicken & pork broth ramen, gyoza and... More

Delicious ramen right in the Jordaan! I was quite surprised to see how authentic the cuisine was; ramen seems to be scarce in this part of the world. The gyozas were very good, and the miso ramen was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Just located around the corner at number 2 on the Elandsgracht. As we visit the 'negen straatjes' area often, we discovered this place by coincidence. We just walked by and decided to enter for lunch. A simple decor and approximately 25 seats. The menu is Ramen in pork broth, chicken broth, a combination of pork and chicken broth or vegan.... Tucked away on third floor of the Asian market...gotta know where to look but so worth finding. In NY there would be a one hour wait for this bowl!

I've been several times to the oriental supermarket below this place a few times, today was my first time visiting the ramen bar upstairs The guoza was better than expected and quite authentic Sadly, the ramen fell short in hitting the mark of a ramen joint. Excellent broth, perfectly seasoned with a rich taste along with the signature runny egg.... More

I found some great reviews of this tiny venue. Not too hard to find once you get to the Chinese grocery. Be advised it is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for you Americans) and the stairs are steep and narrow. There are only 3 tables near the window and a larger table on the other side of the cooking...
