Cute space near museum plein!

This small delicatessen close to museumplein offers tasty food and sandwiches (you can also take away) for a decent price. The place is cozy and you can always look for Manner Spaghetti, the charming cat the welcomes customers!

After the Van Gogh Mueim we needed a break and wanted good food where we could relax and decompress. We found Renzo's and were very pleased. If it is rainy the seating is limited but we were lucky as it was 2:00 pm on a weds. We initially tried the upstairs but found it too hot. We both had pastas... More

I had a small plate of delicious pasta and vegetables, with white wine, for Eur 15,- . Upstairs is a little cramped but cosy, and the charming cat will keep you company and make you smile while you eat. Staff is very friendly, a disabled man came in after me and they went out of their way to accomodate him... More

This is a friendly little neighborhood deli with very good food. The cannoli are to die for! Try the pistachio-you will return for more.

Prepared Italian dishes are available for prices by 100 grams. We had sandwiches twice. Interesting choice of breads (5-6 types). You can choose a cheese or a meat and a sauce and then add another meat or cheese for 1 euro. A bit confusing...meats and cheeses tend to be high quality antipasto types, not standard. Pesto sauce was very good.... More

Italian food. Pasta. Salads, cheese and more. Simple concept. Delicious. Plenty of choise. Lunch, dinner, breakfast. Dessert. Coffee. Eat in or take away. You choose what you like. They heat it if you ask. You pay only per 100 gr. Cosy place, and cat. Friendly staff. Fair price. Payed 16 euro for fine food, special beer, coffee and the best... More

This was one of my favorite spots that I spend my precious euros in Amsterdam. They have delicious fresh food and even though sometimes very busy consistently good on the two times I visited this café. On the side of the café they have benches and tables outside that are visited by locals regularly. I highly recommend seeking this comfortable... More

I live round the corner to this place and pop in once or twice a week. Staff are friendly, the decor and layout is cute. The food is reasonable to good and well priced. I would add at this point that Amsterdam is not the greatest city for food and there are better Italian deli ten a penny in London.... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
