Great Japanese / fusion food, in a vibrant setting

I went to Izakaya as it was on the ground-floor of my hotel (the Sir Albert). I have eaten here now 3 times and on every occasion it has been superb. The best modern Japanese I have been to in Europe, easily surpassing Nobu, Roka and Novikov in London. Service is also warm and astoundingly good.

The level of food at this restaurant is amazing in a city that usually caters to the less picky tourist. A wide selection of smaller bites or main dishes combined with some very tasty mixed drinks.

Being regulars and big fans of MOMO ( same owners ) we ve decided to visit Izakaya on 7th of March. Long story short - it was my first ever experience when after 15 mins being there observing the scenery we have made a decision to get up and leave. Place is noisy, tables are like in the canteen -... More

The food is amazing but the service is the worst. It takes hours to the dishes to come out and if u dare to ask about it to the waitress she will insolt u. Stay a-w-a-y

Nice food, noisy atmosphere, urban, dynamic, it's worthy trying. Great for going with friends, but as well for couples when you're exploring the city for the first time.

Nice location, very trendy place. Fancy interior decoration, well styled waiters, very friendly, polyglot and helpdull. Great food of impeccable freshness. Portions on japanese size, very nice wine menu. All together though a bit overpriced. But very enjoyable!!

As a devoted sushi lover I love to explore sushi in different countries. After reading the reviews I decided to pay a visit and wasn't disappointed. All the dishes were lovely some even better than the ones in London. The sushi just melted in my mouth. I recommend the Sea bass as it was cooked to perfection. have also eaten... More

My wife and I were excited for this meal. We were staying at the Sir Albert Hotel and the employee at the front desk really recommended it. Even said that we "will pay a little more, but it is definitely worth it". Of course he is going to reccommend this place bc it is in his hotel but I want... More
