I have had loads of macaroons in my time, but this place has a lovely combination of friendly staff, great coffee and 'melt in your mouth macaroons' that makes this my favorite .... Especially on a cold rainy day.

Drop what you're doing right now and grab yourself a macaroon and some coffee. All are great but Dutch macaroon is an absolute must. You're welcome.

Beware, the store doesn't open until noon so... More

This place is not cheap but for the quality it's not pricy either. We each had an ice cream and I bought macaroons to take home. Yum yum yum everything was delicious!

You must seek out this shop when in Amsterdam. Not only do they serve the best tasting Dutch ice cream and frozen yogurt desserts in the area, they have a fabulous selection of mouth watering macaroon's that you can buy either individually or gift wrapped. Try the caramel salin macaroon for starters, then go back and work your way through... More

A special treat close to the Flower Market - our group found the lemon especially refreshing. The store has an array of good-looking chocolates, too.

Holland made be known for chocolate, but most of it is really not that good. While wandering the alleys and canals of Amsterdam, I came across several stores that advertised "homemade" chocolates. After one piece of chocolate, it was already clear to me that Dutch Homemade is the best. I took home several pieces of chocolate from 3 stores, and... More
