Rceommended by one of the hotel staff. We love tapas, appreciate good food, and their menu had a great variety -- whether "Spanish" or not, everything we had was yummy and we ate there three times. It's usually busy, a bit loud and crowded, so not where you'd go for an intimate romantic dinner (unless you get one of the... More

This was our 2nd visit and we were not disappointed. The food was exceptional and the Sangria was awesome. The service was great. The server was very personable and helpful in explaining the menu. The food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant filled up quickly, so you may want to go early. We had a cozy table by the... More

Yesterday I went to Tia Rosa with a group of Dutch colleagues and I told them..."This is not Spain", "This is not Spanish food". Spanish Omelette? Calamares a la romana? Pan con ali-oli? Are you sure what you served me yesterday is what you eat in Alicante, Sevilla, Barcelona or Madrid? Even my colleagues (all Dutch) thought it was terrible.

We stumbled upon Tia Rosa in search of a restaurant for our final meal in Amsterdam and somewhere fun to celebrate my husband's birthday. Tia Rosa is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We ordered a good bottle of wine from their moderate but complete wine list. If you go, order... More

I've eaten here several times and it's been generally ok...enough to repeat the visit with a group of colleagues last week for an 'occasion'. We took the easy option "chef's surprise" which is a pre-set menu of tapas. Firstly, we waited over 20 minutes for the drink order to be taken, then eventually the food arrived in dull, cold dumps.... More

Just a 2 minute stroll from the ever busy Rembrabt Plein, this is a real find. Service was lovely – and that staff enjoy a proper flirt. With only 20 or so different tapas on the menu everything was fresh. The calamari was spot on – and as for the stuffed dates, wrapped in smoky bacon, drizzled in Dutch syrup... More

Had several tapas at this place. They are rather large in size (which is great, since the price is not very cheap). The quality of the tapas was really good. The place provides a very nice atmosphere to relax. The service is not great (rather inexperienced waitress) but they are cheerful and happy. I will definitely come back.

Just a step away from seven bridges hotel and the main Rembrandt square, Tia Rosa tapas provided excellent gourmet food, good prices and a romantic environment
