thought it was just a cheese store but really nice restaurant in rear. service was slow but food and atmosphere was great. Nicely decorated and warm place to hang out on freezing nights
No speciality the cheese they serve is very ordinary but the people were nice and helpful. We went there for breakfast
Despite the critical reviews i found the staff very helpful and we ended up trying a toastie with our selected cheese. We found it a good experience, but there are also many other cheese shops around amsterdam to try!
This shop/cafe is a gem within all the cheap touristy places to eat and coffeeshops in this particular part of Amsterdam. All the staff were extremely friendly. The food was nothing spectacular but it was enjoyable and definitely reasonably priced. Their desserts are amazing! Te menu doesn't do them justice, go have a browse of the selection at the front... Nice place, clean atmosphere. Service of Fast Food... Food Really good. The cheese snack was surprising. It was so good: tempura-like fried cheese, with really good Pesto sauce and nice salad. The Pasta was so simple and so good. Really Nice for a Quick and light diner before visiting.
Ridiculously bad food & service. Shrimp fondue is a bowl of cheese with 6 tiny prawns for €8.50. Bread is extra. Pasta was overcooked & tasted bland. Could have had a much better meal nearly anywhere else.
Tried the cheese factory for a late lunch. There was only 1 server, 1 chef. The exhaust was not strong enough since you could smell the frying of the eggs, bacon, etcThe front of the store is a cheese warehouse , back had with limited seating. There was only one chef cooking, so our orders took awhile. `taste was normal,... More
