Went there at lunch, the place was in total disarray. It was impossible to sit inside (no space due to the mess) so we sat outside, where we were ignored for a good 20 minutes. When approached, I asked to see the menu and grunted at that this was unnecessary: "What do you want? You want a lunch plate?" The... More

The service was horrible! We seated ourselves after being completely ignored. Then were ignored for another 20 minutes, until we finally were approached to order drinks and food. Without seeing a menu and not more than 3 words. We should have left at this stage already. However we stayed, the food tasted good. At the end we were overcharged (as... More

We visited the restaurant with friends on a Friday evening. We had some bread, olives and humous for starters. One portion was big enough for four people. The evening started nicely and the service was ok in the beginning. It didn't take that long time to order some drinks and the food. The positive thing about the restaurant was the... More

Fresh tasty and delicious! The regular bowl is a good sized lunch and allows a good choice of lovely items to be included! The staff were friendly and the beer was good!

Highly recommend this restaurant! Go for it! Went with friends on a whim (no reservation) and it was worth every penny! One of the best meals we have had in Amsterdam after years living here. Extra points for generosity - good sized portions, the chef threw in a bonus couscous dish and a side salad (unheard of in Amsterdam!) and... More

This fantastic restaurant is beautifully situated on the edge of the Wester Gasterrein, easily accessible by car and public transport. A nice restaurant with a Arabic atmosphere in a special historic building. We ate a two course " Nomadic Mezze dinner". A traditional fish soup in advance and as main course a large number of small dishes, lamb chops, squid,... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local. Something different and new to us. The food tasted delicious and the service was very friendly. We were seven persons and it was difficult to talk as it was rather very loud. Nevertheless we enjoyed the evening. Thanks to the staff.

Stumbled upon this little gem while walking through Jordaan. The place was packed during lunch with locals eating in the outdoor seating area so I knew it was worth checking out. I found out they served Algerian food...something I've never come across in the states. The food was delicious - you will find a lot of spices, curries, herbs used... More

If you like arabic food i would recommend to visit this place. The restaurant is located in my favourite park in Amsterdam, and the decorations is really arabic. I love the wood door they have inside. They also cook their own bread as well. After your lunch or before your dinner you can have a walk in the park or... More
