This really great brunch place just west of the centre of Amsterdam serves delicious brunch items plus amazing cocktails. They also serve lunch through the week and have other events on certain evenings. It's a bit of American/British hipsterism for locals and expats alike who're looking for the best brunch in town!

The perfect way to see the city

We enjoyed brunch on G's boat on a sunny Saturday in May. The combination of a leisurely cruise with a boozy breakfast was a great way to see the city. Fantastic place for a brunch tucked away not far from some nice streetmarkets on a saturday morning. We enjoyed a wonderful eggs benedict with fantatic latte. Highly recommended!

Tucked away from the tourists is G's, an ultra cool little restaurant with a great story, started 3 years ago to serve friends and opened 2 years ago as a going concern, it's a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere with a dose of Amsterdam sexy. Using old vinyl LP's (records to you youngsters) as menu's the food doesn't disappoint. We had the... More

There is a reason why G's is so busy, it is hands down the best place in Amsterdam for a boozy brunch. The restaurant setting is a bit eclectic; imagine having a get together in Grandma's living room with her old style furniture that's been functified with retro pop culture. For instance, instead of menus, you get vinyl records with... More

Amsterdam was not up to snuff on the international level of brunch goodness. Until G's came on the scene and set the gold standard that everyone is catching up with. Amazing food. Great vibes. And great booze. Ceaser salads and bloody Mary's are those things in life. Things which sound so easy to create and find- which end up being... More

Our expectations were super high due to the absolutely raving reviews..I made reservations beforehand via email and had to shift our reservation on the day to a later time and this was no problem at all which was great. When we arrived we had to wait outside for five minutes and were asked to wait at the bar before being... More

I had really been looking forward to trying this place but was left feeling disappointed. The service was mediocre, the waitress was more interested in her phone and the egg yolks in the eggs benedict were hard. The restaurant was freezing (although it was a very cold day) I can see how this place would be popular, we were probably... More

We made a reservation upfront because we knew it is always very busy. Once we got there and walked in, the blond waitress immediately asked us to wait outside because it was very busy..She than continued working inside and came back 5 min later. We had told her that we had a reservation, she said she needed to figure something... More

Tiny place, very charming, nice place for a late breakfast. Old vinyl records turns into menus of brunch and bloody marys. Very warm customer service. Delicious Egg Benedict. Traditionally, to drink a Bloody Mary is the best way to start the day after excesses from the night before. Wrong - to drink a Bloody Mary at G´s is the best... More

Very cozy place with the best Bloody Maries in town. It is easy to spend an entire Saturday afternoon enjoying delicious eggs benedict, Bloody Maries and banana bread. Want to check out the Brunch boat next.
