My husband and I visited on the first night of our honeymoon after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and I'm glad to say we were not disappointed! We visited on a busy evening with no reservation, but the hostess said she said that were would be a table in 20 mins if we were happy to wait at the bar which... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the 'host services' in our hotel (Conservatorium Hotel, museum district) and it did not disappoint. It was a gorgeous evening so we sat outside (it's a fairly busy road, but by 9pm it really quietens down). We ordered thai fish cakes (or cookies as the Dutch seem to call them) and cockles to... Being first timers the food here is excellent, there enough meat in the 1kg lobster and the fries seems homemade, which is tasty. However, certain staff members appear to be somewhat incompetent, at that time we were serviced by an Indian waitress who doesn't seem to understand how to be a waitress, for instance, no clearance of empty bottles at... Love this place for good quality fish, every time I go I'm never disappointed. The staff is ok but not international enough, the very lay back approach doesn't really work for me. Nevertheless the atmosphere is buzzing and lots of good conversation.

This hidden place is very bricht & modern, with lots of fish variety on ice, as it should be, the Sushi and Sardines were excellent. We'll be back, thanx!

The food looked great! But we didn't get any. We had reservations but it was not going to be worth the effort. After ordering drinks and a selection of fingerfood for starters we waited for an hour to get oysters. There is plenty personell but when it's busy there just isn't any structure in what they do. Walking around empty... More

Visited for lunch and was very much looking forwards to it. Early signs were encouraging, but sadly the food did not live up to expectation and neither did the service. The platters looked incredible and I wish we had ordered one. Instead I ordered the fish (cod) and chips. The batter was very greasy (normally a sign the oil was... More

This restaurant is located close to Van Gogh museum, which makes it a perfect place to enjoy a seafood lunch after getting some 'cultural food' at the museum. The place is large, so the seating is comfortable, and the service is great. The menu is relatively large with a huge number of options, so choose wisely! Now to the food... More
