I am a regular visitor of Thai Tiger, used to live in Amsterdam, and used to eat in a lot of different restaurants, private and with customers. The hospitality from the moment you arrive untill you leave is just very nice and professional. Most important ofcourse is the quality of the food and throughout the existence of this place it... A Dutch-Thai couple combo created not only an extremely cute kid that wonders around the restaurant, but also a great place to dine in East Amsterdam. The team in the kitchen is Thai so the food is authentic and fresh. But to pay 13.50 for a Pad thai dish, a very easy a simple dish in Thailand, seems a little... More

This is the best Thai food we have ever eaten. The menu has an English translation which is very helpful. We had a starter to share and then both chose fish main courses which were delicately flavoured with spices. One word of caution though it is quite expensive.

I have just returned from Thailand after a stay of more than 15 years. After a few weeks in Amsterdam I started to crave Thai food... So I went to the restaurant closest to my apartment, called Thai Tiger. The food was truly amazing! Service was very good as well. I will come back soon, for sure!

We live very close and we were feeling lazy so we decided to give it a go, and it definitely didn't disappoint us! The service was alright and the food took a bit long to come, but the flavors were amazing and the portions enough to feed two hungry roommates. Good price/quality relation.

Our host shared this little place with us and we waited for quite a long time to get our meal, but when it came it was very fresh and the food was delicious, they give large amounts as well. Would definitely eat here again!

We would definitely recommend thai tiger. Everything about the meal was excellent. The quality of the food was great along with the service. We can safely say this was the best thai meal we have ever had. Thank you for an excellent evening.

Visited on first night in Amsterdam. Bad service. Forgot our starters and brought everything out at the same time. Don't take anything but maestro card or cash. Very bad from house service. Very rude. I would not be back

We expected this place to be a good Thai restaurant, also because of many good reviews. Our experience was not great. The food was basic, though not very tasty. We make a better thai -style chicken soup at home, here the soup was OK but way too sweet. It seemed like the staff was not very experienced, it was chaotic... More

I've eaten Thai food in the US about twice a month for several years and I've visited Thailand. The meal I had this summer at Thai Tiger in Amsterdam was the best Thai food I've had to date. Restaurants serving ethnic cuisines often adapt their dishes to the tastes of the local market, which unfortunately can mean that much of... More
