Very good food, and very large portions! The tuna salad was very good, but not fantastic.. The tabels is set by the canal, and you get a very nice atmosphere.

As a British student living in Groningen, I never expected to get some yummy english scones in Amsterdam! Lovely setting and very cute and cosy. If you need a good breakfast or snack while you are in Amsterdam, pop by greenwoods! Loved it and wish I could go back right now

This was a great find. Lovely food, well priced, great service, great location. We had an all day breakfast which was yummy. We also went to their other location which was equally as good. You must visit here when you come to Amsterdam.

Greenwoods sells itself as English - which is fair enough - but if you like good strong "builders" tea then you'll be disappointed; it wasn't that by far. The food, however, was good and the homemade soda bread very good. The location is nice by the canal side and there is free entertainment in the form of the water pedalo... More

What a wonderful place to start the day. We ordered a scone that turned out to be served with clotted cream and jam, as it should be. It was yummy. The eggs came well presented with bacon and sausages done just perfectly. Although quite small the restaurant works quite well . The bill for 2 came to 30 Euros, very... More

Another place on the Canals serving delicious Full English with all the trimmings. Actually much more, you can have your eggs any way you like it, poached or scrambled, Benedict, Florentine or Royale, on toast, muffin or sour bread… you’ll be spoiled by choice. Great selection of teas, coffee and cakes, fresh juices…porridge anyone? Do come and enjoy.

Because of the good reviews we went here to eat breakfast/brunch/lunch on a trip with friends. It was crowded but we were lucky and got a table for four within 5 minutes. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. The food was awesome. A lot of organic food. Good sandwiches, good salads and good breakfast plates. I went for a veggie... More

We stopped for a late lunch at Greenwoods following a recommendation and my how we weren't let down! Portion sizes were plentiful and all dishes we had were very tasty. Service was to a high standard as well and staff went out of their way to accommodate us during a busy lunch service. Word of caution, it was incredibly busy... More
