A perfect cozy dinner out!

Stumbled on this gem as we were looking for a nice night out in Amsterdam. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. We had some wonderful wine on our server's recommendation and then both of us ordered a 4-course chef's special. It was perfect from start to... read more

We booked at Cacerola on recommendation and we're not disappointed. There were some initial issues with the booking (which was done on line) but these were dealt with superbly - we waited in the neighboring bar, had a drink and the restaurant came to collect 15 minutes after are table was booked for (& they offered to cover the drinks... are where new lands are found. We stumbled across La Cacerola on the way back from a days shopping and loved the look of it so booked a table. The rustic atmosphere, cast iron spiral staircase and plaster walls were lovely. Two of our party had a three course Dutch taster menu and by the end of the meal, I... More

We went here on New Years Eve and were very pleased that this is the restaurant that we chose. The staff were attentive, had a great sense of humour and made us feel very welcome. The food was sensational. It was a five course menu, and I agree with the the last review on here that the pumpkin puree &... More

We were here for New Year's Eve, and we were served a 5 course meal and the food was amazing. The first course was a pumpkin pure with beef and cheese and this combination of tastes was just amazing. Another favorite was the steak, juicy and just like a steak should be. The service was also really good and they... More

Though small, it is a very cozy and charming restaurant near the Prinsengracht, and only about a 5-7 minute walk from the Museumplein. A nice surprise and worth a visit!

An unimposing restaurant, but very good food. A short menu with the last item... "Chef's Surprise" I always prefer the chef to choose the chef's menu because I really like to be "entertained" by the expertise of the chef. I have never been disappointed.

Not easy to find, little aside but certainly worthy to visit. Very short menu though Extremly delicious taste. I got Moqueca-brasilian recipe based on salt water fish stew in coconut milk, tomatoes, onions, garlic, coriander and some palm oil - it was wonderfull !!!! Visit place and enjoy every single moment there !

We found this place from trip adviser. It was a little secretive to find the place. We went there for a dinner. Our first impression was that the place was an ordinary one, average ambiance. However, when we had the food, we were amazed with the quality. The steak is a must, the lamp was ok. They have decent wines... More
