Culinary Paris in Amsterdam

It’s an authentic Parisian brasserie near Rembrandt square in Amsterdam. The chefs are working in open kitchens and the waiters are friendly. If you like Fruit de Mer, this is the place to eat it. It’s really that good!

This is the ONLY place we ate well in Amsterdam. Not cheap but good value and service. The menu is equivalent in variety and taste to that of a Brasserie Flo in Paris or elsewhere, that is very good.

We weren't expecting much from this french brasserie so we were surprised at how good the food was. Asparagus was in season and was included in many dishes. I chose the 3 course meal at 38 Euros. The starter was an asparagus Tarte Tatin. The mixed hot and cold ingredients with apple, asparagus and mushrooms was inventive and wonderful. My... More

Food is overrated. It is expensive as hell for what you get. My "spring chicken" appetizer was pigeon...raw as can be on the inside.complete unedible. Sea bass-same thing. And no seasoning whatsoever. Slop on a plate. Go elsewhere! Maitre'D was very nice to my Dutch friend, but completely ignored me as a foreigner. Treated me with utter disdain. Fire him!

I had high hopes for this establishment... The decor is nice, the hotel building is full of extraordinary staff members but this restaurant is was a waste of money. On the closing night of May 25, 2015 I entered this restaurant expecting to splurge on my honey moon trip for an awesome seafood extravaganza. Instead, after making reservations, got slow... More

As I was staying at the Eden Hotel I decided to stay at the restaurant on the ground floor. I started with a Kir Royale I also selected a wine to accompany my meal of diver scallops; duck and an assortment of cheeses. The service was quick and friendly and the food tasted great. The price of the meal was... More

Beautiful food, very impressively decorated and professional staff. It's been a little while since I have been so impressed by a restaurant.
