Me and girlfriend visited Amsterdam and what we saw every restaurant was pretty much the same style so that is why we were satisfied with Frenzi. New avangarde style, lovely staff and positive vibrations. The dishes were not familiar to us but lets give it a try. We had some meat with figs on top and some pignoli aswell, I can... More

We were locked out of our apartment, end of long day with 2 children. Cath at let us use wc, phoned our contact to get assistance and gave drinks to the children. Better because we could rest in comfort until help came to let us back into our apartment. So very helpful and friendly...

This afternoon, I sat down at the terrace of Frenzi Cucina to have lunch. I was completely ignored for more than 15 minutes. After ten minutes one of the waitresses came out to speak to an acquaintance who was passing by. On the way back, she saw me sitting on the terrace, but she decided to go back in again... More

We found this lively welcoming little place while wondering around Amsterdam. Far from the bustling madness of the city centre, this little bistro is an island of calm and food fusion. The food was delicious. My wife had pasta with spinach pesto and chorizo with slices of smoked chicken. I had the slow roasted lamb shreds with roasted vegetable. Both... More

We visited the restaurant for some drinks and the house wine is pretty good. The restaurant is cosy and has some good prices.

We visited a couple of times while we where over on business. Great unpretentious place, with simple food and great staff.... No matter how great everything goes it takes only 1 small incident to ruin a otherwise fantastic evening. Please if you do not take internationally recognized cards (Visa, Mastercard) make sure your staff make this clear to everyone from... More

Small, homely and rustic. The laminated menu lists a limited mix of Spanish and Italian dishes. After some uninspired starters we had pasta (there are no meat dishes and just one fish on the menu). Well prepared (al dente) but with a distinct lack of spices (even salt!).

Wonderful cooking workshop with the family (8 pers). After a little bubbly wecome drink, we all went to the separate preparation and kitchen area downstairs. Ruud was very patient and professional his approach. We learned some new recipes and techniques like making our own fresh pasta (!) and then ate it together upstairs in the restaurant. Very cozy and comfortable... More

We stayed at the West Cord Fashion hotel, and this place on the Overtoom was the only local we liked - we went there 3 times. It is quite casual and people tend to drop in rather than book. Open morning to mid evening. The seating areas are small. However, the staff are very friendly, speak English well, and all... More

We just stopped in as it was near our apt. Very friendly service. Nice menu but limited choice. Lots of locals in place. We both had a pasta special and enjoyed it greatly. They have English menu and both staff speak excellent English.
