We went here on a recommendation from a colleague. We didn't eat but enjoyed lots of beer and nuts. Although we were appallingly bad at pulling a glass, we had great fun trying. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was surprisingly low.

This place is a tourist trap, it is a poor rip off from the original "biertuin" which specializes in great chicken and nice beers. This is a large, dark and empty place which caters for tourists, mainly stag dos. My wife and I were a bit lost on the sticky dark tables, loud music and were disappointed by the poor... More

We all thought the beer was fresh and distinctly different. Did eat anything but the peanuts on the table. Food dishes we saw looked fine, so perhaps another time.

Went here for a company trip. The chicken was very nice, but the beer and the fries are of average quality. The floors are also quite messy around there, since everyone is tossing their nut shells on the floor. The restaurant is nicely designed and you have the option to sit on a table with your own beer tap. The... More

This bar was recommended by a friend as good fun and great simple food, and that's exactly what it is. It looks great and has a nice atmosphere, there's a good selection of home-brewed beers on offer, and the beer-marinated chicken is some of the most succulent chicken I've ever had. It's not a quiet restaurant though, expect big groups... More

I love any place that serves peanuts in the shell! Bierfabriek is relatively new in A'dam and is hidden away on a little street off Dam Square. My husband and I tried 2 of their home brews and both were delicious. We only had a meat/charcuterie plate and it was quite good too! Make a reservation.

A bar with in-house brewed beers and rotisserie chicken ... peanuts on the floor while you wait. The menu is somewhat limited to choices, but that was ok as we went for the chicken and a couple glasses of beer. The chicken was very tasty, tender and juicy and served with fries. It was mid-week yet the place was packed.... More

Honestly, the WORST service of my entire life! Imagine being served your dinner and being asked to finish it in 15 minutes! And then, your plate cleared away because you were too slow for their liking. Nope, it is not a Soviet Gulag, it is a tourist trap in Amsterdam! High marks for rudeness. Please do go there if you... Service in Amsterdam is always patchy, but this place wins the award for most spectacularly rude! They took orders for food, then delivered it with the message that we had to eat it in 15 minutes. The bill arrived a few minutes later and whilst we were trying to be helpful by paying before we had finished they took the... More

We saw this place wandering the streets and it was packed after work. It's a great place to duck out of the rain and grab a house-brewed bier. The peanuts are free and you toss the shells on the floor.
