Discovered this place while staying in Hotel V Nesplien across the road. The menu is very simple and basic but very good. The chicken which is the main dish with chips and sauces is excellent. Service was great, you are greeted at the door and brought to your table and a handful of monkey nuts is put on the table.... More

As a person who lives in Amsterdam, Bierfabriek is one my favorite place to chill, eat&drink. It has its unique atmosphere and design. They offer beer taps on the tables for groups ( awesome ! ) you can serve you own beer, while chatting with your friends. On each table they offer fresh peanuts. Their mix grill is just heavenly!... Popped in as i'm a big fan of micro-breweries and dragged the wife and the rest of our friends in too. Beer was great and you can order glasses or pump your own at some tables. We munched on the peanuts on the table and enjoyed bouncing the empty shells off each others heads (you are allowed to drop them... More

The Bierfabriek (Beer Factory) doesn't boast a large menu, filled with different things catering to everybody's different tastes. I believe it had one or two main course dinners you could choose from. But that's not why you go. You go because their equally pure and simple conviction on beer means they have 3 different home-made beers on the menu. You... More

We went in for the beer, I personally loved the Rose and we also had the chicken. At 13.50 euro including a small salad, french fries it was a good value and was tasty. My daughter had the chorisso, that was good too. Also probably had the cleanest bathroom in the area. Good value for the money, not a gourmet food... More

We went here on a recommendation from a colleague. We didn't eat but enjoyed lots of beer and nuts. Although we were appallingly bad at pulling a glass, we had great fun trying. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was surprisingly low.

This place is a tourist trap, it is a poor rip off from the original "biertuin" which specializes in great chicken and nice beers. This is a large, dark and empty place which caters for tourists, mainly stag dos. My wife and I were a bit lost on the sticky dark tables, loud music and were disappointed by the poor... More

We all thought the beer was fresh and distinctly different. Did eat anything but the peanuts on the table. Food dishes we saw looked fine, so perhaps another time.

Went here for a company trip. The chicken was very nice, but the beer and the fries are of average quality. The floors are also quite messy around there, since everyone is tossing their nut shells on the floor. The restaurant is nicely designed and you have the option to sit on a table with your own beer tap. The... More

This bar was recommended by a friend as good fun and great simple food, and that's exactly what it is. It looks great and has a nice atmosphere, there's a good selection of home-brewed beers on offer, and the beer-marinated chicken is some of the most succulent chicken I've ever had. It's not a quiet restaurant though, expect big groups... More
