Bang for your buck!

On our first night in Amsterdam we wanted a quick and easy dinner, and this was just a stones throw from our hotel. The Indonesian waiter was excellent, and made us feel at home. The first drink (wine, beer, soft drink) is on the house which was nice! (Heineken and a nice enough white wine is... read more

Poor quality food. There are plenty of places that are 10 times better than this. Not worth your money

This restaurant was a complete surprise as it was somewhat out of the way in a dead end alcove off of a well traveled street by a canal. It's at the back of the alcove, and second in the barrage of outdoor dining setups along with their somewhat narrow storefront, and you have to pass through the first restaurant's facilities... We stumbled across this restaurant whilst taking a walk. Nicely hid away in a quiet location. Inside looked stunning though we sat outside given it was a scorcher of a day. The service did take a while but we were not disappointed. My mum had the salmon and it's was cooked to perfection. I had the mushroom steak and it... More

Nice restaurant, the personnel is very friendly. The food is tasty here, it's a right place to have dinner if you are really hungry.

We dumped into this place on our visit to Amsterdam and got a table fairly close to the kitchen. From there we could observe that the kitchen looked quite grubby. The squid was taken out of a supermarket packet of frozen squid. The meatballs were heated up in the microwave and served hot on the outside and barely warm on... More

La Mancha is located at Geelvinckssteeg 6 which is right at the Flower Market in Amsterdam. The food itself is OK but the service was really slow and we were just one of two tables. After a few days of not eating very well I was craving some veggies and received more like a ratatouille, that was my fault in... More

I went for tapas because I was not up for a full meal. The sangria was great as were the mushrooms in garlic. The garlic bread could have been better, though it was great for soaking up the sauces. The squid had a nice delicate sauce, but was kind of tough. The price was reasonable.

I was with my family because we love Spanish food. But we received a very bad and wrong treatment of a young Spanish boy, the waiter. The food is not anything special. It is expensive for what you get to eat. But honestly the worst thing was the waiter. And do not go if you have children since the waiter... More

Good food friendly host and a good prize. I will go back for sure. Till now one of the best Spanish restaurants in Amsterdam for me.
