Yummy - I got love in my tummy

Cute little sandwich and soup place. I recommend the "Dutch lunch" as they call it there. A smaller portion of the very tasty soups combined with bread and a slice of cheese. Comes with a tiny portion of salad and some mustard. The mint tea goes great with it.

I thought this was a cute organic place on a canal so I would pop in for a sandwich to eat on the go. Joost helped me and he was smiling and friendly. It is when my chicken and guacamole sandwich arrived that things got tricky. It was NOT a sandwich but a single slice of bread covered with greasy... More

We stopped there to lunch and we have a nice surprise. Soups are the speciality and really big, wonderful to share. Sandwiches are normal. Apple pie is a sweet way to finish it. All that in a small local in front of the "gracht", with friendly staff and free wifi. Easy and fast way to eat without have to pay... More

This was the first place my boyfriend and I ate in Amsterdam during our three-day stay. It's a small, but comfortable place with good options for breakfast or lunch. We ordered sandwiches and we called them "deconstructed sandwiches" because we had to use a fork and knife... but still delicious! Good service and prices as well. It's in a nice,... More

Very small and cosy place near the canal. The pumpkin soup with bread is very tasty. The fresh pressed carrot juice seems also to be in great demand. The sandwiches look very good. Staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Overall I nice place for a quick and snack.

Came here for a quick lunch with my sister as we'd seen on their window that they offer a "Dutch lunch" for around 9 euros. This included the soup of the day (when we went it was erwtensoep or Dutch pea soup), an old cheese sandwich and a surprise (we got a yummy yet small piece of chocolate cake). All... More

We found this little place by accident as we wandered along canals, so glad we did as they produce such great tasting soups, paninis, freshly prepared fruit and veg drinks. Carrot and ginger juice was amazing. Not much room inside but you can take away if full.

It was a good experience to eat in Toos and Roos. The room is quite small for so many clients, but the staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered too much food because we did not know that the sandwiches were so huge :-) I would repeat surely, but with less food.

Stopped here for a hearty soup and carrot juice. Perfect on a cold day! The place is cosy with an upstairs area. The waiters are kind & efficient. I wish i had more time to go back and sample the yummy looking sandwiches!!
