Great mediterranean food, warm service

Great mediterranean food, a quality of service that is hard to find in the Netherlands and reasonable price considering the location. The mix of Spanish and Greek cuisine might seem a bit awkward (although from the Dutch p.o.v. it's all 'mediterranean', they're quite different), however the... read more

Great mediterranean food, a quality of service that is hard to find in the Netherlands and reasonable price considering the location. The mix of Spanish and Greek cuisine might seem a bit awkward (although from the Dutch p.o.v. it's all 'mediterranean', they're quite different), however the combination of both works well thanks to a smart selection of dishes, prepared with... We called in here for dinner as a result of good Tripadvisor reviews. My sister fancied tapas and I wanted pasta, so this was a nice compromise. We were seated outside and were quickly attended to by the owner, an absolute gent. The food arrived shortly after and my word was it good! I ordered the pasta Melanzane, which was... More

We wandered the area near the apartment where we were staying and came upon this restaurant. I have lived in Spain, so I was confident I could order from the menu. The waitress was terrible. She did not bring the menu right away. When she took our order for the meal, she did not bring the bread we had ordered... More

We went on a week night and it was not crowded. The decor and service was nice and there were many good tapas to choose from, some Greek in origin.

It was our last night in Amsrerdam with our friends celebrating a 50th birthday and found Oresti's on Trip Advisor. It was about a half hour walk from our hotel and we only found it with the help of Google maps but we are so glad we did. We received such a warm welcome when we arrived from the owner,... More

We go to this restaurant occasionally. They have very big variety of -mediterranean- tapas menu and country of origin it's written on the side. The food is always tasty, and the stuff is very friendly (plus they play nice -mosly- greek music) As a Turk, i can say that this is one of the rare places in Amsterdam that offers... More

We have been sitting outside and left the restaurant before the main course which has not arrived after 120mns of waiting time. We have been bluntly ignored by the waiter and decided to leave when no one ever showed up for a good hour. When we said we would go, we experience no reaction by the staff. Places like this... A pleasant environment for a tapas dinner on the day we arrived in Amsterdam. Fresh bread & dips, Calamari were the best. Away from tourist areas.

Wow, this place was better than I expected. The tapas were all delicious, great variety too, not just all veggie or fish like a lot of places. Lively atmosphere, friendly staff......very happy we got to eat here on our trip and would love to go back!
