Have been coming to Amsterdam every year for a trade show. I always stay at the same hotel, very central and close to the central train station. Although the hotel offers a breakfast option for 20 euros per head, I never eat there. The reason. Tapas Restaurant .. Situated in bewtween the hotel and the central train station, the food... More

This is a lovely location, especially on a warm evening when you can sit outside. Otherwise, choose for a window seat overlooking the water.. if you can get one! The restaurant is casual, but the service is quick. It is an option if you just want a quick bite, or if you want to make an evening of it. This... More

Having walked past this bustling tapas bar on another evening we made a mental note to visit as it looked so cosy and inviting, and had the added bonus of being close to where we were staying on our trip. We booked a table for 7.30pm, which is probably advisable as the nicer tables are located on the lower level... More

Lost as we walked and walked looking for a certain Tapas restaurant in Amsterdam, we stumbled, with great luck, upon Dos. Que suerte! Each dish was so fresh and flavorful. The hosts and locals were warm and welcoming. This became a very special night as we kicked off our stay in Amsterdam.

On a rainy day in Amsterdam we were looking for a cozy place not too far from where we stayed. We found Dos and could not be happier. Just a place to spend several hours, eating, drinks and people watching. Dos is not a touristy place, rather a place where locals hang out. It is cozy, inviting and real. Our... More

Tapas restaurant Dos is like a piece of Spain in Amsterdam. It offers freshly prepared tapas (small dishes) which you can select from a big menu and accompany with a spanish wine or beer. There is a small terrace at the front and on the side which makes it even more enjoyable when the sun is out.

Having been here now two times in the last month. Both times we had good food and very friendly service. Nice mixture of local people and tourist. I would recommend this for both couples and also for groups.

Very cosy/charming restaurant, feels like a real pintos bar in Spain! Tasty food, also an array of tapas to choose from the bar! Some nice wines too! You have the feeling you are at home, relaxed and at ease. Not fussy or pretentious either. Friendly and efficient staff.
