Dutch food

This is a very good place for Dutch snack food and sandwiches. Comes with a taste of Amsterdam humour. Lots of locals go here.

Me and my girlfriend keep coming back here every time we visit Amsterdam for the beautiful cakes, cheesecakes and macaroons. Would recommend the macaroons to anyone, particularly the vanilla. My girlfriend also tried the croquettes this time and said they were lovely.

This wee bakery/cafe is a great place to sit in and grab a snack Staff can be a bit Hit or miss with the service, but most of the numerous times we've visited it has been excellent. Some delicious cakes, truffles, and ice cream in the summer!

The cakes were good in this place but the staff member who served us had an attitude. I didn't get a warm happy feeling. The American lady friend I was with commented how the service is not like this in the states.

I've been to Amsterdam on a few occasions in the past and have sampled the beautiful cakes in this cafe. A friend and I were about to return home via Schiphol and thought a quick lunch here would "fill a gap" until we were home once more. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and any other customers in there... More

Its very near Rembrandt square but it does not have sky-high tourist prices. You can order sandwiches and other short order food for lunch or dinner. After the meal you can order one of the myriad pastries that are available in the store. The choices are too many and that problem is deciding which one to get. Budget and Price... More

The cheese croissants are absolutely delicious. And the little gift of marzipan pie with coffee is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

It was a bit of a let down once through the doors, as we were expecting a very traditional feeling bakery - but it was akin to a fast-food cake shop. Lots of lovely looking delights but a surly service even when we returned to the counter to ask for another drink - too much trouble?! The cakes and pastries... More

Delicious ice creams. Warm place. Good cakes. In particular perfect to have a break when it is raining.
