It was recommended that we try stroopwafel and came across this bakery when wandering along the canals. I had a huge mug of hot chocolate and a honey stroopwafel. Both were mighty delicious!
Lovely small bakery with friendly service. Had a great breakfast.Loved the cinnamon croissants. Tried to return but was always full.
What's better on a rainy, chilly day exploring Amsterdam than a warm, cozy bakery filled with friendly people, hot coffee, and tasty baked goods with a history? Yeah...I can't think of anything either. Luck guided me past Lanskroon on a four hour layover at Schiphol. The pastries are beautiful and equally tasty, the coffee is fresh, and the people-watching is... More
First of all, there was a cat in this bakery, just sitting on a chair being adorable. Only minutes after we arrived, a black cat came strolling up the street right into the bakery and onto another chair. Seemed very popular with the cats, and that was just fine by me since I'm an animal lover. MY boyfriend and I... More
Passed this on a walk around the '9 streets' shopping area, and because it was close to our hotel we went in there twice. Good coffee, excellent apple cake.
This place has delicious, great quality pastries. I particularly like the apple turnovers, which are not too sweet and have a nice crunch in them. The poppy seed triangle cookies are great as well. Never tasted anything like them. Just try different pastries; trust me, you can't go wrong. Service is friendly too.

And the locals probably prefer it that way, since this is where they come for their coffees and their pastries. This summer, I noticed that Lanskroon is selling icecream too. But still, what one should buy... More
We went in for coffee and, for my friend, a pastry- I can't remember what she had, although she liked it, because I saw a "gluten-free" sign. Turns out if they don't have any gluten free baked goods at the moment, they will bake something for you for later in the day or the next day, depending on their schedule.... More
Lanskroon is one of those cozy and lovely place that once you step in, everything feels so right. It's a lovely tearoom with only a few seats inside. It definitely reminds me of days before all the big coffee chains overrun a city. This is a great spot to break for tea (or breakfast) after touring or walking round the... More
Over 30 years ago my parents already went to this baker to buy their sirup waffle (stroopkoeken). They are the best you can find anywhere in the Netherlands. I still always go back for their excellent baking and bring some for friends, since everybody loves it. In the shop you can also drink something and their coffee is excellent. I... More
