Great food, pleasant experience

We live in England and have been fortunate to be able to visit Lanskroon on every one of our visits to Holland. The fruit pie with cream is always delicious and a must no matter what else we eat. Our latest visit was on a Monday and it coincided with Claudia having a day off. Not seeing her was... read more

I heard a lot of people mention this place, so a visit was a must. The stroopwaffles were fine. Certainly very tasty, but well, its a dry pancake with a bit of chewy caramel. Lovely, but you can only get so excited about it. Unfortunately the shop is a bit tired. I fear it's trying to keep it's rustic charm... More

A small shop, which I have read to serve one of the best stroopwafels in Amsterdam. Did not disappoint, although was different from what I expected (crunchy and served cold). Space inside the cafe is small, so be prepared for a bit of a wait

I came along this tiny cafe and smell the stroopwafels. So I stepped in and ordered a milk coffee and a stroopwafel with figs and raisins and one with caramel to take away. Both have been very delicious, somewhat different from those that are sold everywhere in the country. The cafe is very small and basic, only a few little... More

not special food. Bad service. The patisserie is very dirty. There are mold on the wall, floor and table are dirty. It should not be caffe, minister of health should close this resturant. I could not eat the cake, because of dirt on frog. Waiter did not change it. Overrated, tourist trap!

Found this place via tripadvisor. Found a table inside this small bakery, had a drink and the famous stroopwafels and almond cookie...they were both ace! Well worth a stop if you are wandering around Amsterdam!

Pleasantly positioned on a canal is this delightful pastry shop/ coffee stop. They are famous for their stroopwaffel-a waffle made from two thin layers of baked dough with a caramel-like syrup filling in the middle. My wife had to try one- not real big but tasty. Well worth a stop- near the flower market.

Very small bakery with a few tables to have a coffee at. Cakes and cookies all lovely. Counter busy all the time we were in with locals buying cakes to takeaway.

This is an old, small family run bakery that makes a lot of different items but the specialty is stroopwafel. They were YUM. Order a coffee and stroopwafel and do as the Dutch do. Put the wafel on top of your coffee to warm up the syrup. Fabulous on a cool Amsterdam morning.
