Latte & waffles

Delicious caramel and coffee hard biscuit like pancake with a latte. Delicious and perfect for a wintry day. A hot chocolate, latte and 2 pancakes came to approx €11 so not *too * bad in central Amsterdam!

Best first thing in the morning. The stroopwafels are huge. I brought them home as gifts; I find them perfect when you microwave them for 10 seconds. Both flavours are good but I prefer the caramel one.

We went here during our honeymoon to get an authentic stroopwafel based on the trip advisor reviews. I have to say it was just okay, I was a little disappointed. The café itself is very small, cute and cozy. They do not have a bathroom but will send you to a partner bakery up the street with a pass which... More

Good coffee and croissants. The place is tiny and very cute. A very warm welcome and a great place to stop and take shelter from the rain. The staff were friendly and happy to help in English.

I ordered a coffee and both types of stroopwafels they made that morning. Very very tasty and a warm delight for a chilly day.

This is more for your authentic Amsterdam bakery experience. I had two stroopwafel, one honey and one caramel. They were homemade and nice but for some people hard. Next time, I would actually get a nice warm drink and a table.

The poor service from the young inexperienced staff in this cafe left a bad taste in our mouths. We were ignored by passing waiting staff, as were other customers. The cafe itself felt cramped and uncomfortable. The stroopwafles were freshly made and if you are a fan then you would be happy with them. We weren't overwhelmed however.

We stopped in to Lanskroon because it was so highly rated. Overall, we didn't think the stroopwafles were anything special. They seemed fresh but nobody in our group loved them. The consensus was that they were just OK. I think there are better places for sweets in Amsterdam.

A lot of people have been giving this good reviews so I thought to put in my list of places to visit. After the all the tram rides and detours, I finally found this place. Some love the freshly mad ones from albert cuyp market. They are good too, but I love the variety of flavours here. They have honey,... More

Found this bakery after some searching. Had to try these stroopwafels based on reviews I'd read. They are tasty and crispy, however they are pre made so I prefer the ones I tried at Verse in Albert Cupys Market which are warm and gooey and fresh made when you order.

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
