We found this restaurant on trip advisor, I emailed to book a table for two. When we finally found this little treasure ,we was really pleased. It is in the basement of a cannel house, it is small and very cozy, You can watch the chef cook your meal in the open kitchen. The owner was very lovely guy,we talked to... More

Completely unassuming small eatery on the Raamgracht, far away from any other restaurant. A small eatery tucked away in a cellar, in a historical 17th century house on one of the most beautiful canals in town. Maybe the nicest Thai in town but definitely the friendliest place in Amsterdam. Top notch real Thai food in an old Dutch setting which... More

Me, my girlfriend and two of our visiting friends went for a late dinner to Raan Phad Thai. 1) We were welcomed super kindly! 2) Although the restaurant was full (due to its cosy little size) we sat by the nice Thai-like bar to have a drink first. The barman/ waiter was smiling all the time and made sure we... More

This rates as the best Thai restaurant meal we have ever had. No, make that the two best Thai meals! It was so good the first evening that we returned the following night. The restaurant is on a very quiet canal-side street and was recommended to us by the owner of a nearby shop. When we went to check out... More

We went here on a recommendation, and it was so good we went back again. Small place, so glad we booked. Food excellent, staff very friendly - chef Vietnamese apparently. Both nights cost us €45 per couple. Only problem was that they don't take cards. There was plenty of choice on menu, and everything was very delicious. Recommend highly

I don't usually choose Thai food, but this restaurant has changed my mind, the food was delicious. Very tasty and fragrant without being too spicy(the chef did ask if we would like him to make our chosen dish hotter). If I am in Amsterdam again I would definitely return.

A good recommendation from a local who didn't hesitate to suggest this place when we asked for good Thai. We ordered chicken satay to share for starters, followed by chicken pad Thai and beef massiman curry with a changi beer and soft drink. Delicious food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Total bill was around 35€ but be aware that they... More
