Great service and food

We found this place by chance. The service was extremely friendly and the food very good indeed. In terms of value for money, the three course menu at 25 euros was superb. Location is brilliant, too.

Stumbled upon this restaurant looking for something to eat for dinner. The only meal option is the ?25 set 3 course meal. As it was already pretty late, we decided to share a set. We ordered the veal tongue for entree, lamb stew for main and apple crumble for dessert. We wanted tab water as we didn't felt like having... More

We arrived on the Friday morning and ate here that evening. Great value and service. The menu is limited but all choices are good food and the service is very friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is cosy and the closeness of the tables makes it feel like you are all at a dinner party.

Great canalside location by the 9 Streets. Intimate, authentic and cosy. Great quality food, only 25 euro for 3 courses. Really relaxed and unpretentious. Truly gezellig!

Made reservations due to all the reviews that recommended doing so......when we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty so I thought maybe we hadn't needed them.....but the TINY space filled up within 10 minutes!!! Very glad I followed everyone's advice to make the reservations. The menu offers only a 3 course price fixed meal, which is a good value for... More

Came here with a few friends for dinner after our initial choice was full. They had a fixed menu with several choices. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was hot and tasty. The place is slightly underground and quite small. Not a whole lot of elbow room but that was the charm of the place. Bathrooms were small... More

We walked by this place and the aroma coming out onto the street was so inviting. The restaurant is a little below ground and small. You feel like you're eating in someone's home. Very nice staff. Definite go here if you want a traditional Dutch meal.

We wanted our first meal in Amsterdam to be Dutch. This restaurant is tiny, so we had reserved ahead, and enjoyed both the food and the ambience of the meal. Friendly, helpful service, reasonably priced, and delicious. Not touristy.

to sum up : difficult to do better for 25 € and 3 courses. Creativity, taste, atmosphere and good wine, all the necessary elements for a good evening. The main negative point is the noise in this small rom.

This is a small restaurant on the Keizergracht, Amsterdam, serving a dinner of three courses for Euro 25/person which is, I believe and according to the fact that it is always full, affordable for almost everyone. The food was good though the portions are quite small (what could one expect for this price!?). The beer was also cheaper than in... More
