a price fixed 3 course menu that is excellent

down a steep 3 steps and worth taking the "plunge", down the street from the hotel that we were staying at and in the 9 streets area of Amsterdam. The food was excellent, the restaurant is small so probably a good idea to make reservations (we were there early enough that we were seated but told... read more

This was a good choice while in Amsterdam. It's in the heart of 9 streets and you'll miss it if you don't look down because it's in a basement. The food was good, not blow your mind great, but a solid 4 out of 5. Service was very friendly and our waitress was working very hard to be attentive although... More

Stumbled on this restaurant during the last day of my visit. Great food (the chef really puts in an effort to make their dishes non-trivial/average), for a great price if you get the 3-course menu. Service was excellent, although I sat outside and the waitress had to go up and down the stairs many times just to serve one person.... More

We walked past the place twice before we realised what it was a restaurant. They were very busy but still managed to fit us in. The food was excellent and a good choice of wines. The place is small so you will be close to your neighbours, so it might not please everyone. We enjoyed a pleasant evening and will... More

Set menus, dependent on what the chef could get on the market that day. Inventive food, healthy and hearty, with quite a few organic options. Decent wine, albeit a bit expensive, but nothing over the top for the location, right in the heart of hip and busy Amsterdam on the Negen Straatjes. Highly recommended for both families and couples, as... More

After me and my friend were placed at a nice table, we were asked to leave or sit in the doorway, because another group of 5people came in. So don't be sure you have a table before you actually get the food!

Nice small restaurant that is certainly easy to miss if you are not careful. On the sub level with the entry on the corner its worth while seeking it out if you are in the area. Offering a fixed price menu of 25 euro for 3 courses that also rotates the entire menu it’s a good option for the price.... More

A venison steak was tender and the sauce was interesting. I also had a spicy pureed potato soup with goat cheese and it was very good. The place is relaxed and friendly. Good option.

When the restaurant we wanted to go to on a Monday night in June was closed, we stumbled across this sweet gem. What a sweet find offering very good food- much local sourced- at a very reasonable fixed price for a three course meal. Service was friendly and accommodating. A small venue makes for a cozy evening, but no problem hearing... More

We had a lovely meal here on a Monday night , having spotted it during the day and read the reviews on tripadvisor . The set menu at 26 euro is really good value. The place was packed and the only problem is that it is quite small. I felt sorry for the waitress and chef who appeared to be... More
