Fixed price menu is a good bet

After me and my friend were placed at a nice table, we were asked to leave or sit in the doorway, because another group of 5people came in. So don't be sure you have a table before you actually get the food!

A venison steak was tender and the sauce was interesting. I also had a spicy pureed potato soup with goat cheese and it was very good. The place is relaxed and friendly. Good option.

When the restaurant we wanted to go to on a Monday night in June was closed, we stumbled across this sweet gem. What a sweet find offering very good food- much local sourced- at a very reasonable fixed price for a three course meal. Service was friendly and accommodating. A small venue makes for a cozy evening, but no problem hearing... More

We had a lovely meal here on a Monday night , having spotted it during the day and read the reviews on tripadvisor . The set menu at 26 euro is really good value. The place was packed and the only problem is that it is quite small. I felt sorry for the waitress and chef who appeared to be... More

We went here twice on our recent trip to Amsterdam. On our first night we just stepped in and were given the last table available. The place is small and there's not much space between the tables but that adds to the atmosphere. We had a fantastic 3-course diner with appetizer and wine for about EUR 40 per person. Also... More

We went for dinner as this was very close to our apartment and were pleasantly surprised . The place is small with a very friendly waitress. The menu is limited but has all the options you might want - meat, fish, veggie. For ?26.5 each we had a 3 course meal that was tasty. Better than most places we ate... More

We had a lovely meal in this place. We had thought Amsterdam would be astonishingly expensive but not so. We had a 3 course meal for two for less than £50. Now that's fab value! The food was tasty and nicely presented. We really enjoyed it all. The only downside was that it is very squashed with too many tables... More

Great food, excellent service! Was in doubt on which dish to choose from because the options are wonderful. Chose one and.....was sent a taste of the second one so I could have a little of each. Lovely place with great food. Highly recommend!

We were staying a few doors away and didn't want to travel too far on our first night. Literally stumbled on this restaurant and it was an absolute delight. The three course set menu was excellent and the service was very attentive, without being intrusive.
