Just lovely........

Brasserie de Joffers is an famous place for the local Yuppies and the Boheme of the Lairesse/Wilemsparkweg neighborhood. During the summer, you can enjoy the sun in the back-yard and enjoy a coffee with strudel-cake or a petite lunch. I did visit on a Sunday morning, it was crowded inside, even... read more

We visited this place for breakfast after wandering around the neighborhood. The staff seemed friendly and very helpful when it came to translating the menu. We ordered the hollands ontbijt and joffers duo. When the food came out, we quickly realized that the hollands ontbijt was surprisingly big and we had some issues finding room for everything on our small... More

unfortunately we only had time to eat here once. The food was delicious and of great quality. The service was friendly and efficient. The decor and furnishings were of high quality. If only we'd had time to return. Highly recommended

We came across this small restaurant as we had just arrived in Amsterdam and were staying nearby. The waiter was very welcoming and went through the choices on offer on the menu. He also gave my husband advice on choosing a beer. The service was good and the food was excellent. It was so much better than the meals we had... More

We had just arrived in Amsterdam after a long overnight flight, and Brasserie de Joffers was a pleasant introduction to the Netherlands. Our waitress was very friendly and offered good recommendations. The food was fresh, hot, and well-prepared, and the coffee was strong and good. The decor is charming.

I had very good bitterballen there: crispy outside and very pasty inside. For a main course I asked for the lamb curry: milder than I like but still tasteful. Service was also good.

Excellent spot for breakfast and dinner! I went with a colleague for breakfast and had a huge meal and coffee for around 10 euro. We went back for dinner the next night & the quality of our food was great. The service was excellent and quick. Great family owned place!

We had a leisurely paced breakfast on a lovely Sunday morning - white eggs omelette served with bacon, croissant, a healthy muffin and multiple cups of coffee each. The wait staff was very professional and service was as good as it gets. We sat outdoors in the terrace in a relaxed and lovely environment and neighbourhood. The food was of... More
