We cam across this restaurant on a Saturday evening with no reservation We chose the four course menu which was an excellent choice as all four courses plus the appertiser were full of flavor, color and texture. The price was excellent, the wine menu adequate and the staff after initially being hesitant were very welcoming. Situated at a window seat... More

When we stumbled upon this jewel. I remembered reading about it and even though we weren't dressed in our finest we thought we would give it a try. It was absolutely wonderful from seating to dessert. Please plan a meal here. The presentation, the delicate flavors, the service were all first class. I have been to Amsterdam many times and... All the great reviews made me make a reservation. I was not disappointed. We ordered the daily special 4course meal and it was amazing. The food was great and the service was 10/10. The room was warm, so it got a little hot. They if have fans running so they did their best. But it didn't affect the score or... More

When a hotel concierge says this is his favourite restaurant you can often take it with a pinch of salt and wonder if its a well worn statement. He was a big, confident chap, we took his advice and when we leave the hotel I will tip him well. This restaurant is just wonderful. The food, the wine, the service,... More

My wife and i tried this restaurant after reading the reviews, we were very impressed, this restaurant serves excellent food, cooked to perfection in elegant surroundings. we had a 4 course meal, with a bottle of good New Zealand wine. The bill was almost half of what we pay for similar food and surroundings in London.

It is a wonderful place to go with work colleagues: quiet and elegant. Food was delicious: small dishes to try several options and finishing with wonderful desserts. Good quality wine. Would go back.

Having done some research, we booked this restaurant before we arrived in Amsterdam. We weren't at all disappointed. It was very close to our hotel so we had a lovely wander along the canal to get there and were very impressed by the location. Sitting on the Amstel river and opposite the Hermitage Museum, our window table gave us stunning... More

My wife and I decided to have a short city break to Amsterdam and as we had enjoyed the Breitner so much last time we visited it we went back. The ambience is old fashioned charm and it does that very well, with a modern look at food. Again the service, quality of the food and all round experience was... More
