We stumbled across this restaurant while wandering the streets around the Rijksmuseum. It looked like a nice casual place to dine so we returned that evening for dinner. They were fairly crowded but service was excellent (Aagje waited on us). Food was good, prices reasonable - a nice place near the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseums with a casual ambiance and... More

Ate twice here during our 4day stay in Amsterdam. We had two children with us who had no trouble finding something good to eat on this reasonably sized menu. Service consistently good as was the food. Lots of tasty dishes on the tapas menu, spag bol and lasagne good, lovely prawns in tempura batter. Although busy on both visits we... More

We had tapas and wine here before a concert. The venue was great, tram right to the door, 200m to the Concertgebouw. The tapas was also lovely, and the house wine generously served and very drinkable

Not far from Van Gogh or Rijksmuseum so it is a great place to recover with a drink, lunch or dinner. The portions are very generous, I had the Penne con Pollo - our waitress' suggestion and it was excellent. Other dishes enjoyed by party were lasagna, and Spaghetti Carbonara all were well prepared.

We ordered the fried calamari which was fresh and crispy. The fish in the fish & chips was fresh too! Overall is a good place to eat if you are around the area.

Ate here with a friend on our only night in Amsterdam. Walking distance from our hotel, vegetarian choices, and reasonably priced. Was better than we expected: relaxing patio dining, wonderful, courteous service and delicious food! Was a great way to end our busy day! Waitress even helped us move out to the sidewalk to watch people for our dessert, and... More

Located in the rajkamuseum area this is a great place for pasta, salad or full plate meals. Don't be out off by rustic atmosphere -it's Amsterdam after all . Service can be fast or slow depending on the crowd. They take reservations which we would recommend. Good value and good food. Don't be offended by the servers curt ness at... More

We stopped here for lunch to enjoy some tapas and that we did. We had mussels, and cheese croquettes. It was a perfect small meal. The restaurant is cute inside and it got very busy. The service was excellent, I would definitely go back.

We were looking for a quieter restaurant to eat in after a busy day, not wanting to be too close to the city centre. Pompa was perfect, enough people eating to give you confidence in the menu but not too busy you are sitting in someone else's table. Food was amazing we had empanadas/garlic prawns and chicken in mushroom/carbonara all... More

Great atmosphere and food choices among local diners. We shared several appetizers and also enjoyed sandwiches. The service and food quality was awesome. We sat on the patio and really enjoyed this place.
