Cannot fault our experience here. Friendly, considerate and attentive staff. Beautiful art deco styled interior. The food was superb and we really enjoyed our meal. Worked out very reasonable considering we both had mains, sides, dessert and a couple of drinks. Really beautiful spot as well, Rembrandt statues just outside in the square so we enjoyed a nice walk after... More

This restaurant has a huge menu, and as we were just having lunch, I decided to have a sandwich. I had a double decker with tuna salad, smoked salmon, and dill cream cheese. What a surprise combo and how delicious! Too bad we tried it on our last full day in Amsterdam, or we would have definitely come back to... More

My friends and I stopped here for lunch. We loved it! We had the prawn and salmon salad and beef sandwiches. It was all reasonably priced with good Heineken (of course!).

We stopped here for lunch. It was easy to find a table in the shade and away from cigarette smoke. The staff were pleasant and appropriately attentive. The food came quite quickly, was tasty and of a generous proportion.

Stopped here whilst exploring the southern canal ring area. Good amount of seating outside in Rembrandt square and a great location to watch the world go by! Good options for lunch, we had chicken bites, cheese & ham toastie, chips and drinks for a very reasonable €17.Waiter very friendly and attentive but not intrusive which allowed for a very relaxing... Time of visit: Evening. We just wanted tea / coffee but couldn't resist the small savouries and starters. Ambience: Vibrant, but non-smokers will struggle. Outside seating has a covering which will save you on a rainy day What did we order: Stokbrood Kruidenb @ EU 3.5 (French bread with garlic butter, tapenade), Portie Friet @ EU 3 (Frence fries /... This place was convenient and ok. The service was slow and spotty-had to catch a waiter or waitress to get service or request something-no-one checked back with me. There is an outside area, covered outside area and inside seating. I had lunch there and had cheese croquettes. They had an interesting taste and I enjoyed them. The place was more... More

My wife and I stopped at this location while we were in Amsterdam. The location is great and the service seem fine. We ordered something simple: toast and a mozzarella sandwich. No complaints here...the location set the tone.

We had a Sunday lunch here. Great Chicken Sate and a fantastic fresh Goats cheese salad. Came back for drinks and mini-pancakes (worth visiting just for the mini pancakes!) and came for a dinner on our last night - prawn starter, thai soup, lamb & beef all good. More mini-pancakes, still great! The service is very good, the spot in... More
