The food serve at the Wing Kee was excellent and te portions were HUGE. The restaurant was slightly understaffed with only two woman serving the whole place which meant service was brisk and lacking, but that was understandable as the waiters were rushed off their feet. Prices of the dishes were good, especially considering the size of the portions.

Simple Chinese menu served in big portions at reasonable prices. It was nearly full and a good, if canteen like, atmosphere. Lots of choice round that area but we weren't disappointed.

It's true that there are better restaurants than Wing Kee. That did not stop me from returning. I was travelling solo, and didn't want to spend hours in a dimly-lit restaurant, whispering sweet nothings to nobody. I was hungry, and Wing Kee soon fixed that up for me. Twice. I had the cuttlefish the first time (barely had room to... More

Mostly asian/dutch & brit/american customers.. The interior is poorly decorated/basic & oldish The service is essential but fast There is enough choice at reasonable price however, as stated in the title, here we go for quantity over quality, so x kilo is quite cheap & any angry would be fed for a reasonable price but the quality of the food... This restaurant is not about interior or service (service is not bad anyway), it's about freshly and fast cooked meals, big portions ans small prices. The only downside - they don't accept credit cards. But if you happen not to have cash on you, they'll give you plenty of time to go and find an ATM or something.

Lots of good value dishes. What you see is what you get, no fancy decorations. You can't eat the decor can you? We always make a point of eating there when voting the city.

One of the members of our party asked at hotel reception for a decent chinese and they said this one. Basically they said it's nothing to look at, the decor is rubbish and the staff are old but the chef is excellent. Could not agree more the portions are massive and they did one of the best sweet and sour... More

Me and my family went for dinner twice during the trip! HUGE and I mean HUGE portion of food! Pork was excellent and duck was even better! and for the price! for me its totally worth the money. Yes the service can we a little rough with 2 tiny Chinese ladies, yet I find them charming (and I don't want... More

We were hungry and we were in Chinatown. Though it was packed during dinner time, we managed to get seats within 15 minutes. Service was prompt, nothing spectacular. Food came with rice and in big portions for the price we paid. There is toilet available for use one floor up. It is a practically eat-and-go restaurant.

We went to Amsterdam recently with friends and this restaurant was a real find. Not much to look at, inside or out, but the food was fantastic, the staff were lovely and it was inexpensive. Anyone in the area should go.
