Good atmosphere, good service

We stopped in here for an afternoon drink whilst wandering around the Jordaan. Its in a great spot, was very kid friendly (we had three teenagers in tow) and the guy that served us at the bar was really helpful in guiding our choice of beers.

We found this place on TripAdvisor. I agree with the most part of the positive comments. The food is great, the place a little bit dark so we had to read our menus with the smartphone's torch! I've eaten the steak and it wasn't so raw as I asked but the sauce was great. Potatoes were very good, almost like... More

My daughter and I ate here late on a Saturday evening, crowded but still had good service. Daughter had a veggie burger that was huge and very good, I had the daily special , very good and filling, a meat potato, green dish . I have eaten here numerous times and always get bitterballen as a appetizer . Be careful... More

It has everything you can expect from a burger. Crunch & spicy & jucy beef. With a pint of beer can't be better!

We stopped in here after wandering around looking for dinner. When we walked in the atmosphere was great, there was live jazz music playing. The place was very busy so was lucky to get a table. We had some burgers and fries which were nice, I would certainly go back again.

We had the burgers and fries. There were different kinds of burgers. Please note all our stomachs hurt all night long. I do not recommend eating here. It is a nice atmosphere for drinks. Thanks

This is a friendly unpretentious gastropub which has atmosphere. We stopped in here for a late lunch, and had really good pea and ham soup. The menu is very good and varied. There seemed to be a high local content here which is refreshing in tourist ridden Amsterdam. They had a Sunday afternoon jazz band playing which added to the... More

We picked this place based on looks. It is right by a canal and had a friendly atmosphere. The menu offered a lot of options including several Dutch dishes. The staff are great and it is right near a lot of attractions. Cool decor and good food

Nice place to have a glass and quite chat. The old furniture give the place a great feeling and relaxed atmosphere. I didn't eat anything except some snacks but they were nice as well.

Went for lunch and it was just what we were looking for. Solid sandwiches, and outdoor seating right along the canal.
