Nice place overrated

While it is a nice place to eat a panekoek it is I believe a little over rated The queue is lining from 10 am as the place is opened and quite frankly I've eaten similar pancakes in other places in amsterdam So if you happen to be around and there is a free table go ahead if not there... read more

Ate here based on recommendations from daughters. Average to good pancakes, slow service by urban hipsters. Not impressed.

We read about this and was so excited to go. Mostly because they had gluten free pancakes and I'm coeliac. We waited in line for about 15 minutes and then realized we barely moved and we must be stupid to stand in line this long just for pancakes. So we went next door and it was fabulous. A shame we... I got here at 11am on a Saturday morning and had to wait in line for about 30 minutes outside before getting a table. Some people gave up waiting and left, but for me it was worth it. The pannekoek I had was delicious and the fresh orange juice was as well. There are a ton of different varieties that... More

Waited 30 minutes outside in line to eat here in afternoon. The service was good. The pancake was fine...nothing special about it really. The pojjertes were good. Overall worth a visit but it was a bit pricey for just pancakes. The fresh squeezed OJ was good too.

This place is very small so you will have to wait. We were OK with that but then our waiter forgot to turn our order in. The kitchen was visible from our table so we were watching everyone's pancakes being made, including people who were seated well after we were. Then the cook was finished and just standing in the... This place is busy and often has queues outside for a reason... it's fantastic food! It's small (tiny!) inside and very intimate, small tables and very close together, but you soon forget all that when you start tucking into the superb pancakes. Don't think there's a bad choice on the menu so go for whatever takes your fancy, all served... More

Food was fine, not blown away with my pancake but it was nice. My partner very much enjoyed hers so I tried it and agreed. It's ashame they have advertised with big companies because it was too busy and the waiters / waitresses looked over burdened ad under assisted. The service nevertheless was good, our waitress was friendly and helpful... More

Really good pancakes, the staff was great to help us to find a convenient accomodation due to my two dogs.

Hai, Sorry to hear You are not able to wait 30 min for a table! We indeed have a too small place, we are searching for a second place so hopefully than the wait will be shorter there. If You do not want to wait, come at 9:45 (we open at 10:00) or at 17:00... Hope to see You next... More
