Some of the best places to eat are not those listed in a tourist 'must see' guide with the inevitable crowds. This little eatery is in a little sidestreet and a good discovery. It is designed in part to provide customers with good basic food, and then send them on their way. The customer turnover is quite huge during the... More

We weren't looking for anyplace special, just a stop for café. My friends had the apple cake and declared it excellent. I wasn't in the mood so ordered a sandwich special. Oh my, dark bread + fresh greens+ham+scoops of fresh mozzarella+sun dried tomatoes and basil. Small place big taste.

Firstly the staff were lovely - so kind and helpful. We went twice in our 3 day trip! The goats cheese toasty was so good & the lattes were perfect.

We stopped in for an early lunch of really nice salmon club sandwiches. It's a hip and cosy place, their English is great and the neighbourhood is nice if you're into hipster'ish things and shopping. Would go again.

In de middle of this hip area The Nine Streets we found this perfect lunchspot. Polite waiters, somethibg went wrong so we got drinks on the house. Food was perfect, coffee was even better. Take a window seat if you want to see the city waking up on a sunday morning. Enjoy!

Had a fantastic breakfast here on our recent trip. Place was packed but the very friendly staff fitted us in after a few mins. Good choice of food on the menu, the BLT's are great. We were looking for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning before a trip back home:-( Super Amsterdam laid back but friendly service. I had the breakfast platter: 2 super scrambled eggs, browns toast, butter and jam, a selection of fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee and fresh juice all for less than € 10. My husband had a brilliant... More
