We had some drinks, and then the theater-menu. it is reasonably priced, 3 courses for 27.50 euro. But the food was very salty. Later that night I got sick, most likely form the fish that I ate as a starter, because it tasted a bit off and was not fully cooled like it was supposed to be. Food is nothing... More

Being part of a theatre in Amsterdam this can get very buzy. If you do not enjoy crowds then I suggest that you go out of peak hours. There are lovely tables to sit at outside or inside. Menu is simple but good. Service could improve but stays constant throughout your visit. Price wise - good for the quality you... More

We got there on a Thursday evening. The place is very nice. We had a burger and a Caesars salad. It was okish to good. Service was to the slow side. Value for money could be better.

We stopped in for lunch after leaving a place that didn't have sufficient vegetarian options. The food was beautifully prepared, wholesome, and fresh. The wait staff efficient and businesslike.

We went there to have breakfast. Nice surroundings, food was ok, but the service was nice but very slow. Took 15 minutes to get a simple coffee.

The menu is very much a lunch menu, even at night: caesar salad, pasta, soup, burgers. We chose the pre-theater menu: thinly sliced beef with salad, hake steak with beet risotto and cherry mousse. Small portions, but we like that. Well executed, fair prices. The best thing is they allow you take your dessert in the break of the theater... More

I ate the mosselen here last month. They were the best I ate in a while. The terrace is nice in summer and the staff is friendly.

We decide to have our lunch at Stanislavski due to the fact that it is close to the Museumplein and the Concertgebouw (where we were going for an afternoon concert). Also, it is just across from the Leidseplein tram stop (Leidseplein being a place full of restaurants to choose from) The lunch menu is simple, with some salad options, hamburger,... More

Great location in the theatre - Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, by Leidseplain square - very good meeting point. You can have a sit near by teh entrance - more for a for a coffee and cake or more inside, where you can enjoy nice interior. Maybe service could be a little more pleasant and helpful but generally speaking it is fine!

Stopped off for a break while walking around the city and glad we did. Good coffee, good friendly service, great atmosphere and delicious apple cake.
