Stumbled on this place after visiting the Anne Frank house, so glad we did. Friendly service, amazing food ( mixed grill and pork stew ) and even brought us a plate of tzatziki on the house to try which was quite unexpected and appreciated! Meal with water was only €35, and we were both quite full, best valued meal we... More

I had to leave without food as there was only one poor vegetarian option, not worth the price. Disappointing...never happened to me before

My family and I ate at the De Twee Grieken in Amsterdam. From the outside the restaurant looks pleasant enough. Inside the restaurant felt unclean, tables were sticky. As for the food, the menu was typical greek fare. We had the Taramasalata tzatziki and olives to start. The taramasalata was ok, the olives were possibly the worst we have eaten,... More

Food is good as Greek almost always is. Cook seems to be real greek-man. Interior is pretty basic and intimate, there is more tables at back side garden.

We were undecided on where to eat on a Saturday evening and wanted something close to our apartment in the Jordaan area. After reading the menu at this restaurant, we decided to try it, mainly for the meat platter for 2. The place looks a little dog-eared and at first we thought no one else was eating there but when... We had a wonderful Greek dinner here. The dolma and spanikopita starters were probably the best part of the meal. The entrees were good too-- moussaka and a lamb stew. All very tasty. The baklava was the only thing I wouldn't recommend, a bit soggy. The service was good and gracious. There were a couple of odd moments when the... More

We liked this place and were disappointed to find it full when we went back for a second bite! In nice location and good varied menu, we are frequent visitors to Greece and felt the food was of a good quality at a fair price. They even had Greek music playing!

After falling for the tourist traps of the Red Light District, we were craving more wholesome food in a more relaxed atmosphere. That's when I discovered this little jewel on TripAdvisor! As a vegetarian with specific dietary requirements and being part of a group of meat lovers, I thought of Greek, as this cuisine pleases all! We entered the restaurant... More

I felt like greek food so went here based on reviews. Had stuffed grape leaves to start (they serve them hot!) which was good. Then greek salad - dressing was very weak, but good portion. Then had mixed grill which came with a pretty good amount of meat - small pieces of chicken, pork, hamburger beef and very very small... More

I had dinner twice at this restaurant during my 5 days stay in Amsterdam. The food is great and the portions are huge that's enough for 2 people. i ordered the mixed grill one night and the lamb dish in another night and they were both delicious. The appetizers are excellent especially the spicy feta ( i cant remember the... More
