Good and authentic Greek food

We tried this small restaurant and we were very happy with it. The place is not fancy, but is very cosy, they have a terrace as well. The food is very tasty, the staff is very friendly. If you want to try some good Greek food this is a very good choice. We'll come back.

stumbled upon this half full restaurant whilst looking to eat on a very busy sunday evening..all other nearby restaurants were full. the starter of tatziki was really good but the main lamb dish was nothing short of leftover roast lamb that had been reheated with a sauce thrown over it. not up to the usual greek standard which should be... Many restaurants in Europe are small, so when we went searching for a restaurant that could fit 7 of us at one table, we were delighted to be seated immediately at a great round table at the back of the restaurant near the grill! Oh, the aroma of the grilled food, hence why I ordered the Mixed Grill for my... More

Very Authentic Greek place, the food is very good, you could almost be in Greece, decoration is not fancy but just what you would expect in Greece and the atmosphere was pleasant and bustling, I followed other reviewers who seemed to know what they were talking about and ordered the grilled option and was not disappointed, even the red wine... We live in the neighborhood and thought we would (finally) try "the Greek restaurant." I was a bit puzzled by the range of Tripadvisor reviews, from outstanding to awful. I thought it was in-between. We had the goat and mousaka and found both meals to be quite bland but not awful. I have definitely had better Greek food in my... More

This is just such a nice place, in true Amsterdam style. Great food and lots of it. Friendly fast service by professional, friendly staff. Small and intimate, relaxed. Excellent house wine at sensible prices. Forget posh nosh, this is a place for a chat, to relax and enjoy yourself.

We accidentally found this place on our way back to our hotel. All other places were loud with pictures of their food...this had their menu outside with English also The inside was warm clean and so inviting with candles on the table. We had an appetizer, salad and then split the beef kabobs...2 beers and total bill was 36 usd.... More

Great, authentic greek food, tasted like homemade. Nice atmosphere and very good service. We were looking for a place to eat, took a chance and weren´t disappointed! Not a "fancy" place which only makes it so much better! Reasonable price too for being Amsterdam..!

This place doesn't look particularly special from outside but is welcoming and serves good wholesome Greek home cooking. It's typical of many restaurants nearby in being tiny - perhaps 30 covers at a time - which tend to get very busy between about 7.00 and 8.30 pm. We got the last table on Saturday at 7.45 and many people were... More

Travelling with someone who has been many times before, I followed advice and went for the grilled option. I wasn't disappointed. I chose and enjoyed the most amazing langoustines I have had in a very long time. Accompanied by rice, salad and the usual chips. Accompanied by a bottle of wine sourced from Greece. The meal cooked and served by... More
