Great little nook for a snacknor breakfast

Simple, no nonsense, tasty eats. Had the ernie breakfast special which was fantastic. Fresh squeezed OJ was very good. Located near Singel canal with several tables.

Delightful little place! Went for a walk and stopped for a bite here. I had the earnie and she had the bert, delicious. Very relaxing sitting by the canal.

This is a sandwich shop on the corner. Bert will set out some tables and chairs by the canal if the weather is nice. Breakfast of ham/cheese croissant with coffee was only 5 euro and it was fast. Great place for quick bite.

If you want something swanky then this isn't for you... There aren't really tables (there are outside) more of a breakfast bar. Full of locals getting their lunch which is always a good sign. The food is excellent! We had a chicken burger, which was actually flattened chicken breasts in fresh bread full of lovely fresh salad, so big neither... More

We shared a sandwich, which was enough as they are quite large and it came with a nice salad. You order inside and they bring it out to you. We sat across the street overlooking the canal enjoying the sights. Great way to start a stay in Amsterdam.

The sandwiches are tasty and beautifully presented. You get a lot for you money, so take a look at someone else's order before ordering two broodjes. You may want to split one (which they don't mind).

We went here for brunch, and found a cozy place with wooden counters overlooking a canal. Their menu was up on a blackboard - a variety of sandwiches and some breakfast items like omelettes. I felt the prices were reasonable - just under 15 Euros for two sandwiches, and the service was fast. However, I was a bit disappointed by... More

Great sandwiches and breakfast. It's a very small family run restaurant/cafe on Singel (canal). They offer seating outside as well. I've tried the goat cheese and honey, the healthy egg, egg & cheese breakfast, and caprese. They are all great and a bit different each time, which I like at small places like that. Consistent.
