A very small place with little seating room and hardly any service at all. Maybe other food choices then mine make it worth it, but I ordered a "burger" sandwich and got nothing that even remotely resembles a burger. Three little meatballs in a small baguette and not a particularly fresh vegetable salad on the side. Paid a ridicules amount... More

I work up the street from Broodje Bert and have been coming here for lunch for years. It's always excellent. The family who run it are extremely friendly and they make amazing food. Most everything on the menu is about 5 euros, and for that you get a huge open-face sandwich with a homemade salad on the side. I've had... More

Tiny no frills corner cafe overlooking the canal on Singel that serves excellent fresh breakfasts and sandwiches. Great value.

The place is tiny, only seats a few but there are some tables outside. We had one of their signature breakfast plates and we felt like we were having a home cooked meal. Seemed like mostly locals eat here, which was exactly what we were looking for. Only a few items on the menu but appeared to be quality fresh... More

I visited this cafe for breakfast with my family having read the reviews on Tripadvisor. It was great. I ordered fried egg and bacon. What appeared was a huge plate with three beautifully cooked eggs, bread, salad and loads of bacon. Wow! It was brilliant ! My daughter's panini was just as huge and well prepared. We sat having our... More

Wow, what a great breakfast. I had a plateful of 3 fried eggs, cheese and mushrooms on bread and a lovely fresh salad which even made me think it was healthy. It was washed down with a nice couple of coffees. My daughter had a ham and cheese roll and hot chocolate. It's an unpretentious and small place overlooking the... More

This is a great place for breakfast - good value and good food. It was very convenient for us, staying on the Hotel Estheréa, less than 50m away.

Good value sandwiches made from very fresh and good ingredients. Tried the Tuna, ham/cheese and mozzarella/Pesto. Everything very tasty.
