If you want to relax having a picturesque view of the canal Prinsengracht, this coffeeshop is worth your attention. I sat there with my friends having a coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, some good music is played which might be important if you want to try other, 'smokable' positions from the menu.

This came highly recommended by some in the TA forum for beginners or people who would like to try smoking. The lady at the counter is super nice and it's a very chill and low key place. This is not like some of the 420 shops in city center where one can feel intimidated by the crowd easily. It costs... More

We stumbled upon this cafe when we taking a stroll around the neighborhood. We got ourselves a cappuccino and people watched. Right by a canal in a beautiful neighborhood, extremely chill and non assuming. Would definitely go back!

Traveling along the peaceful western canals of the Yordan district, specifically on the west side of "The 9 Street District" - is one of my favorite strolls in this city. For a relaxed, quiet and happy break, point yourself to this specific coffeeshop, whether you're fund of his side of the counter or the other...As coffeeshops slowly decayed into sleezy... More

We stumbled upon this place while cycling the back streets and canals. It's on a corner block, next to a leafy street overlooking the canal in the Jordaan district, a trendy, artists area of Amsterdam. The whole coffee shop has a great vibe, very green with an overhanging tree growing out of the side of the building and lots of... More

I must say that we are absolut beginners and I don't have comparisons. But the service was non existing. To go to the cashier order what you want and that's it. The ladies were not specially friendly actually they didn't talk at all.

Much more of a relaxed local feel to this place. Its run by a mother and daughter who make fresh food, I only had a toastys for 3 euros which were tasty. Reggae was playing in the background and lots of plants/flowers inside, it was too hot inside so always sat outside (it was abnormally hot in Amsterdam). Good priced... More

Really nice little coffee shop with good selection of smokes and shnacks. Its not in the middle of everything else so its quiet and you can generally avaoid all the loud obnoxious stag do's. 6 euros for homemade brownies, 3 or 4 euros for a pre rolled joint depending on your prefrence. Good milkshakes. Closes at 7pm and is not... More

If your looking for a quiet place to sit out by the canal and relax with your favourite smoke, followed by a nice toasty then this place has you covered. Alternatively they have a good sized seating area inside. The top floor consists of diner style decor with 4-seater tables that many visitors have left there mark by signing them... More
