Cozy Restaurant with Great French Food!

We had the best time at this little restaurant. The staff is all very friendly. The chef (yes, the chef) takes your order, and I highly recommend getting the Surprise menu, and just letting the chef choose his best for you. My wife and I had one of the best meals ever.Service is really good, the chef explains the specials himself and nothing was too much trouble. The food is right up there with some Michelin starred places I have been to recently. I wish this place was in my home town!

If you want to experience French Country-style cooking at it's best: look no further. Chef Ben will cook the best dishes you normally only find in France. The staff is pleasant and will take of you wishes but sometimes is a bit too busy to do it all at the right time. Never mind the atmosphere and ambiance together with... More

We did not know this restaurant but were here with a local, who comes here regularly. We opted for the set entrees, and as main dishes veal kidneys, fish from the Albert Cuijp and the coq au vin. For dessert we opted for the chocolate dessert and icecream. Everything was fresh, tasteful and deliciously cooked. Staff friendly and helpful with... More

Great service and very cozy atmosphere. We made dinner reservations online for Christmas Day, after being won over by the delicious sounding menu. However, they hadn't posted on the website that the menu would be completely different and fixed for Christmas dinner and I didn't enjoy about half of it.

I like this place. Interesting menu. I always learned a new ingredient when i came here. The food is flavourful. If the risotto is still on the menu, it could use some more seasoning. The ingredients are so freshly sourced that you can really taste the difference from your albert heijn groceries. I would go back again, knowing that i... More

You should go and try the "wild days" menu only for the formidable rabbit, cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth.. We weren't very keen on the smelly blood sauce, we just tried it, it proved to be the perfect combination, with the vegetables as well. All the compliments! The pate is also delicious, the soup interesting. I'd recommend the... More
