Steak & Malbec, you can't go far wrong

My personal favourite steak house in Amsterdam, recently refurbished and now a lot brighter and spacious. The important thing is that the steaks are as excellent as ever.

If you are in Amsterdam you have to come to La Boca restaurant, it is a few seconds from Dam and the restaurant it self it is really nice, the people who work there are friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. The most important thing about the restaurant is that if you will try the spare ribs, you will probably... More

Some of the steak meat is imported from Argentina but not all .The sirloin was tough but tue tenderloin was very soft. We didnt get much customer service as the staff was busy with a coptic priest visiting from Egypt. Seems like owned bu an egyptian family. I dont get the Argentine connection though. We didnt feel much welcome in... More

15,95 for a" mixed tapas plate" composed of one chicken wing, a small sausage, a small empanada, and a baby rib. A ridiculous plate, in which the best thing probably was the lettuce ( without any dressing ). Overpriced tourist trap. We went to mac Donald's afterwards.

stumbled across La Boca and had great food and great service. Looks very small from the outside but has larger rooms available. Quick service. Toilet facilities upstairs which could be a problem for some.

I am sorry but 14 Euro for a hamburger without anything, just a hamburger and bread (seriously, people, not even mustard, ketchup, cheese or anything) plus about 10 fries and a small salad is a bit too much. You guys really took the word hamburger too seriously. Please, do yourself a favour and pay half the price for a big... More

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very gaucho-like! It is not too big, giving it a cosy feeling. The meat here is from the best cuts and very juicy and tender. Also they have a fabulous selection of wine. I recommend having a glass of Argentinian Malbec. You can also smell the aromas from the Asado grill! I would recommend... More

Neighborhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away.
