We had the tortellini della chef and the penne with tomato garlic and basil. Let me just say that the tortellini was the best I have ever had. It was homemade and very fresh. My wife was very happy with her penne until she tried the tortellini

The best you can say about this dive is it's not pricey. Sadly it is not very good either. I ordered escalope Milanese. What arrived was not the veal advertised on the menu, but a piece of rather tough beef of uncertain pedigree that had been flattened, covered in breadcrumbs and fried within an inch of its life! Tough and... More

After searching for a decent priced restaurant near our hotel on the Rembrantplein, we eventually found this place. The food was very good, with the pizzas and house red montepulciano d'abruzzo, extremely enjoyable. 2 starters, 2 pizzas, a desert to share, a bottle of house red, a limoncello and an amaretto for €57 is great value in this area of... The restaurant wasn't busy, the atmosphere was pleasant, and, actually, I've never tasted such good pizza in my life. It's been two years since that, and still I haven't found anything alike. But, the price was rather high. So, that was the only disappointing thing about this place. But we had only good impressions after all

The restaurant was busy when we went - so we were the only people upstairs, and could hear everyone downstairs, that was what we disliked. However the service was ok and the food was really pretty good given that 2 course plus wine for 3 people cost €70. Overall we could not complain.

We ate here twice rather than all the steak-houses etc. and found a friendly welcome without having to wait to find a table. Limited wine list and a well-cooked menu, but so convenient.

Not a friendly place for tourists, they don't give tap water, and they don't accept more than one card per table, and the allegation is that they pay taxes,

This restaurant was wonderful! The owner himself served us and greeted us at the door, we originally were going to eat somewhere else, as we wanted to try the danish food due to the fact that we were in Amsterdam, but searching door to door looking for a restroom, this was the only place on the street that let us... Don't miss your time and your money at this restaurant. If you stay at the Banks Mansion Hotel (which is great), they will probably indicate this restaurant to you, because is very close to the hotel. But, refuse it. It is awfull. I ordered a spaguetti with sea food and I could eat because was so bad, so bad, that... More
