The restaurant is part of the Grand Hotel Amrath near Amsterdam Central. We breakfasted on the two mornings of our stay and were pleased that the presentation, quality and dietary variety on offer seemd suited to every visitor's taste and preference. We chose dinner on the second evening and allowed the restaurant and beverage manager, Rick Bakker, to provide the... More

We celebrated my husbands birthday with the 5 course chefs choice and matching wines. Each course was delicious and perfectly cooked and encouraged us to try dishes that we wouldnt normally have chosen. The Restaurant Manager presented each course with a perfectly paired wine, explaining each one with knowledge and passion. The restaurant is part of the Grand Hotel Amrath,... More

I went for dinner here with a friend after exploring the Hotel Amrath which turned out to be an excellent choice. The decor is interesting, and ambiance suits the historical architecture. Our server Manno and the other staff were very helpful without being overpresent. I had the four course surprise menu which turned out to be very good. I was... More

I liked almost everything: the interior decoration, the attentiveness of the service, the food quality and the excellent wine pairing in the 3-course surprise menu. The desert was "fondant de chocolat" with the right ice cream: orange and not vanilla, as in most places. Only the price is a bit high but you are in a 5-star hotel...

We were one of three couples in the restaurant, this meal took over 3 hours from start to finish, very small portions, I give it 2 stars due to the food taste, it's tasted great just to small and too slow, we had to go out afterwards to eat again, would not eat here again, the food was of a...
