A small restaurant in the area of Niewmarkt. The dishes are made almost in front of you. The taste is really nice and the service is quick and helpful. I went there with three more friends, without a reservation around 7pm on a week day. We easilly found a table. For 3 main dishes, 3 soups, an appetizer and a... More

My wife and I were in Amsterdam in September and found this place by accident. It looked plain (and is) but was full of happy customers. The food is first rate and the service friendly and warm. A fun place for a quick and delicious dinner. So good we were back the next night (unfortunately our last on this visit).... More

Went here based upon a recommendation and was not disappointed. Food is authentic and high quality and reasonable. Two entrees with spring rolls and rice was 25 euros.

By far the best Thai restaurant in town. Don't go here if you're looking for a romantic candle light dinner, since this restaurant is not that stylish and romantic. Go here if you like good, spicy and tasty Thai food. Without a doubt the best food for a very small price you'll find in Amsterdam. The three Thai ladies will... More

Me and my boyfriend ate here I think 2 months ago. O-Cha is a traditional thai restaurant with great food, no beers or other alcohol. We had a good meal and it's not to expensive. Go there and taste for yourself.

Best place for Thai food in Amsterdam. Do not expect much of a restaurant as it all looks very cheap and informal. Do not expect to stay here for much longer than 45 minutes. The main reason for one to visit this place is the food. And I can assure you the food is heavenly. Most recommended are the curries... More

This small restaurant (/take away) is a precious resource when you are starving and just need comfy food ready in less then 10 minutes! the three sisters who work there are always chatting, laughing and cooking delicious thai specialities... the atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the service is excellent! ...don’t miss the green curry!

We liked this little place, it's not touristy and I think we were the only non-Dutch people there in the little restaurant. It gets quite busy and cramped, but for this quality of food and price you can't complain. As someone who has eaten a lot of Thai food in Thailand my only complaint about the food would be that... The restaurant does not do reservations, no alcohol, no glasses for drinks but the food compesates for all. One of the best Thai in town, and with nice prices.

O-cha is definitely the best Thai cuisine in Amsterdam (also see the so-called "Iens guide". It is a small restaurant slightly at the border of the Red Light area, situated in the upcoming and trendy Lastage-area, north of Nieuwmarkt plein. The two original ladies who always serve the best freshly cooked dishes with a smile need some helping hands since... More
