Good general Italian cuisine

The Pastas are good, the prices are ok, the salads are very good. All-in-all, I'd give it another try because it was good. The staff was kind to us. Oh, and there's a cat walking around, don't worry about it, it belongs to the restaurant.

We popped in here for a quick meal after a day of sightseeing and could not really fault the place so I'm not sure what the negative reviews are based on. We were seated quickly and served with a smile. We only ordered main courses (a steak and a pizza) but both were nicely presented and tasty. Prices were reasonable... More

The pizzas arrive. Uniformly round, and not very hot. You know that way a pizza should arrive - piping hot, all bubbly cheese and fresh aromas? The way fresh baked naan bread or baguettes taste, anything that comes fresh from an oven? All bursting with flavour. Not here. Cut a slice and tasted. I'd say this is either a frozen... More

After a long day in Amsterdam, we didn't want to go too far from our apartment, so set out to look for some Italian food. To be honest, our first choice was full so Toscana was already a second best choice. Afterwards, I rather wish we had just waiting the extra 45 mins for the first choice (but after experience... I craved a pizza. Wood fired. Fresh ingredients like artichoke, mushroom, ham and salami. I was so disappointed. It arrived quickly and alas, it was a hastily strewn mess of pre-prepared depression. The mushroom and bell peppers were cut yesterday and almost totally raw, thus lacking any flavor. The salami was the $1 per foot version. And the ham was... More

This restaurant is a bit out of the way from central Amsterdam but reachable via tram and bus lines and a short walk. The food was acceptable but nothing to shout about. The minestrone soup was watery and thin with little if any flavor. The spaghetti Bolognese needed salt and had little body. The pizza Margerita was ok.

We enjoyed the pizza and pasta, the food was nothing special, quite average but the atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and warm, the service was friendly and efficient and the cost was quite cheap.

We shared a tarantula pizza with an additional toppling of ham. It was cooked perfectly and hot from the oven by friendly staff. We spoke English and were engagingly understood. Good service all around the restaurant, we noted. Good attitudes evident. Remember, as in Italy, ask for the cheque when you are ready.

This is a modern trendy restaurant , every table filled. The food is exceptional Italian. Extensive wine list in all price ranges and a bill that is surprisingly low for 5 star quality. Great atmosphere. Recommend the ravioli's with chestnut and ricotta if available .Fun time in Amtserdam

we tried this restaurant on the first day after a long journey, we were after a simple easy meal. This place had a mix of locals and tourists. There is a good menu, the staff are efficient and very friendly. We only had a bowl of pasta each but can find no complaints, in fact for the prices I thought... More
