nice restaurant near the Flower Market

I don't know why Argentinian steak restaurants are such a thing in Amsterdam, but this one was pleasant and relaxing. We decided to visit while in Amsterdam. We were told that we could not have soft drinks other than water. This was not true. We asked for a fillet and sirlion steak - order not processed right. Then add items on the final bill. So even though the food was nice, the service was lackly. Would not recommend this listing

Great location, amazing food, super atmosphere - you must try to eat here if visiting Amsterdam. Of course they have wonderful steaks, we both had the chicken and it was just as good with great side dishes and the cheese course to finish it off was delicious.

The two of us had perfectly cooked tender steak here, ribeye for me with triple chocolate for pudding. Lisette served us and she was great; friendly and helpful. It was a special occasion for us and worth every penny. Didn't book but we went fairly early and the placed filled quickly whilst we were there.

4 of us went here on a Saturday night. Thankfully, we called in the afternoon to book. Had we not, I don't think we'd have got in as the place was rammed to capacity. We were shown directly to our table. Very quickly, our server came and gave menus and took a drinks order. The drinks came very quickly and... More

Went there on a Saturday night, made reservations and had a really nice time. The food was very good but the only thing I would point out that it was a little loud.

One would think that in a Steak house the 'chef' would be able to cook a steak. It's hit and miss in Gauchos, and I've had to send a steak back twice before - once because it was rare and once because it was well done, when I asked for medium. To their credit, they accepted the fact and replaced... More

book a table as it gets busy and you want to make sure you get in. plenty of choice of steak.... Great service, which is important to me. A bit pricey but worth it. Grilled mushrooms were out of this world. Prawns are stunning.

A bit pricey but excellent service and food, hope to return again in the next couple of days. Had to queue to wait for a table, as it was so busy but we'll worth it. Once seated there was no rush to leave. Great night had by all.

Currently sitting in Gauchos having enjoyed a lovely 400 gram ribeye. The food is superb and the service is second to none. The staff are all pretty young but know how to deliver a really good service.
