Two friends and I visited La Colina for an evening meal. There was a warm welcome as soon as we stepped over the threshold. We all ate pizza: pepperone, vegetariana & quatro stagioni. Two of us had the house red wine & the other a beer. The pizza arrived fairly quickly after we had ordered and tasted delicious. The house... More

Had a good dinner and. Two of the four ordered off the Italian menu from place next door and had great pizza. It's ok, was super hot in there and finally got the door opened to cool off. Service was great but not sure we go back. Like to try something else.

We chose this Argentinian Steak House as it was close to our hotel and on a cold, damp evening did not want to wander far. Was met by the owner who was friendly and inviting. This is a small restaurant but the menu is quite varied, we ordered the rib eye and sirloin, both medium. The steaks arrived more medium... More

The place itself looks lovely, very quaint with a nice ambience. Food was terrible. I ordered a starter of smoked salmon with capers but it arrived with no capers, just salmon and salad. For the main, I ordered a mixed fish tagliatelle. The bits of seafood were over cooked with the prawns and scallops looking extremely small. Then for dessert... More

This restaurant has two sections, an Italian side and a Steak House. I ate at both of them, and in fact was served by the same person both times. On the Italian side a Had the Lasagna ww béchamel. It was more of a fondue with pasta and much too salty for my taste. The pizzas looked good and I... More

A damp night and getting late for me as I came across this place and was hustled in by the tout standing outside. Except for a couple of yound loves I was the only customer. Ordered the mushroom soup(4.40 EU), pasta 'Arrabbiata(7.50), and a beer(3 EU). The pasta was great, the soup OK, and the beer cold.

I've been to this restaurant several times over the years, and it has always been a pleasure to go there. The food can be a bit basic, but the steaks are generally good.

We found this place while walking through and after checking some reviews decided to give it a go. We were the only ones in there, and this struck me as strange, as neighbouring areas were full. We ordered a sirloin steak and chips, with a sauce. This came to about ?22 so it wasnt cheap, but not overly expensive. The... More

Found La Colina down the side street whilst looking for a steak house to dine at. We hadn't booked but that wasn't a problem, sat in the window so could watch the restaurant and the street passers-by. The food choice was good, lots of nice steaks and grills (chicken / lamb / fish) The service was polite and prompt, our... More

I had a lunchtime meal here, having walked past several times. Nice ambience inside and the service is good, if a little too attentive as anyone who stops outside to peruse the menu is instantly jumped upon by the staff. I had a Spicy Mexican Tomato soup for starters. Not only was in not spicy, but I doubt if it... More
